Drawing on 50 years in the real estate business-from home sales and renovations to property management and more-Tom Axelrad launched Axelrad & Associates Home Inspections in 2006. Over the past 13 years, the Axelrad team has grown to 10 inspectors and has performed nearly 8,000 inspections across the greater metropolitan and Southeast Louisiana areas.
After 40 years in the Louisiana real estate industry, we realized that there was a need for more detailed and informative home and property inspections. We strive for a high level of client communications and adhere to professional best practice standards. After in-depth research, we found a reporting system that is the most up to date, most informative and most understandable on the market today.
Licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Home Inspectors, Licensed Home Inspector No. 11086. Louis Schaff was born and raised in the New Orleans suburb of Metairie. He later moved to Baton Rouge to study history at Louisiana State University (LSU) and has lived there ever since. He often travels between the two cities, for work and to visit family, his parents, sister, and brother.
During the next few months or as long as Stay At Home Orders are in place Axelrad & Associates Home Inspections, LLC will provide limited home inspection services. Axelrad & Associates was the best to work with! Beau and Chad were very friendly and were incredibly patient with me and my questions as I walked around with them. I love how in-depth the report was. I received it within a day of the inspection and the pictures they added were very helpful to get an idea of where everything was.

I had such a wonderful experience with Emily. She was kind and super knowledgable. She made me feel comfortable asking questions and gave thorough explanations of everything she found. On the practical side, she was on time and provided my inspection report when she said she would. While I don't have anyone to compare to, I would definitely recommend working with her and will again if I happen to need these services.
