Renovation of a student lounge and dining hall well known for having the best ocean view on campus. The expansion replaced a 26 year old existing servery style restaurant. The existing exterior envelope was extended to capture more interior space. The view to the ocean was carefully considered from all angles.

SAA is a Los Angeles-based architecture firm that offers a wide range of services to public and private clients. We specialize in architecture that is sustainable, economical and site specific. The firm's current staff of twelve comes from diverse backgrounds, including architecture, computer modeling, green architecture, infrastructure planning, interior design and the visual arts.
Jeff is a founding principal of SAA and has over thirty years of design and management experience. His firms have provided services for numerous prominent public and institutional clients such as UCLA, LAWA (LAX), Caltech, LACMA, the City of Santa Monica and the J. Paul Getty Trust. Jeff directs all aspects of the firm's work from programming and design through the completion of a project.
