I've been going to Kama'aina Acupuncture now for about a year and a half, and have found all of their acupuncturists to be experts. I schedule regularly with Patricia, and her skill, patience, and instinct have brought me immense care and relief. Allergies, tight muscles, stomach aches, rough periods, anxiety and insomnia, TMJ; these and easily many more issues and pains have been eased and supported by their insights and knowledge of the body. They offer a sliding scale, and student discounts, and also provide cupping, aromatherapy, herbs/supplements, electroacupuncture, very light but helpful

Joe continues to provide excellent treatment and their setting is so relaxing. I just need to remember to call ahead to make an appointment as soon as my travel arrangements are done.
They get to book up quickly and especially on weekends.

I will not be going to receive any services after a rather rude and blunt return call for appointment from one of the female acupuncturist. I have a fractured sesamoid(which is a slow, hard healing foot injury that has issues with blood flow). The responses to my questions didn't certify care, understanding, or professionalism.
After browsing Yelp reviews and seeing Kimo and Jenny's bad experience I am relieved I didn't schedule. 2 stars because despite being an unfriendly receptionist she still took time to call me back to get scheduled, and it seems from most reviews the majority

I've been trying to find a place that was affordable, close to my place, and who had knowledgable practitioners. This place is really good! I love that they have a sliding scale for folks to come and take care of their health even though they're living on a budget.
So far I've tried acupuncture treatments from Patricia and Nohea. I just tried cupping from Joe. They're all very friendly and professional.
I'll definitely be adding them to my health and wellness regime.

Now I know why dis place is rated 5 stars! Got poked in the wrong place when doing my PRP shots into my right knee causing intense pain in da ligament behind my knee! With pain level being a 10, I needed immediate relief so I could catch da big south swell hitting in 2 days. After Bob applied bout 6 painless needles into my knee n left it there for 15 minutes n removed them n applied a muscle pulsating machine in dat area for another 15 minutes, my treatment was done! This is an overdue review for Kama'aina Acupuncture. I absolutely love Patricia. I saw her on a weekly basis when I lived in Oahu and miss her dearly. I have always gotten acupuncture treatments but I rarely find someone willing to dig deep and release the blockage to facilitate healing. Patricia most definitely met my needs and I will be seeing her again when I'm in Oahu. I highly recommend Kama'aina Acupuncture if living or visiting in Oahu. I am very happy with my experience with Kama'aina Acupuncture. A love their cute little house and the location is perfect for me, since I can walk. But, they also have tons of free parking. Nohea was my acupuncturist and she is a very good listener and made me feel comfortable. The customer service and communication in general is very friendly and accommodating. The price makes it easy to enjoy acupuncture regularly as a wonderful, relaxing self care practice. I feel like I can breath better (my sinuses are completely opened up). and that isn't even the reason I pursued acupuncture

My usual acupuncturist was on leave, so I gave Nohea a try at Kama'aina. I'm so grateful to have found her! She hones in straight to your concerns and maximizes your time on the table. I love the cupping, and she is precise and gentle with her needles. It's a great value and I leave feeling more balanced and back on track. Mahalo nui loa for the service!

I had a great experience today. It was my first time getting acupuncture and I was pretty nervous but it was totally comfortable and helped. I’m sorry to the people relaxing with needles in them, I was the dude trying unsuccessfully not to snore.
Besides the nice clean facility, it has tons of parking! Totally unexpected.

I was shown to the treatment room and got to choose a chair facing the window to let all the sunlight hit me. She worked quickly and smoothly with her insertion of the needles. A

Absolutely great experience here. There is a sense of calm that overcomes you right when you walk in. So far I've experienced three acupuncturists here and cannot decide who has been my favorite! The hours are fantastic and the price flexibility is a helpful option. It can be difficult to reach someone via telephone, but email is a good communication option. Definitely worth a try if you are thinking about checking this place out.

I'm all sorts of broken and to be honest massages don't really work out for me and needed something more skin deep than a deep tissue massage.
So I have decided to try out here, at the time I was going through a heartbreak and I asked if they had a pressure point for a broken heart and they said there is one and it located on the knuckle of your toe?!?!? That was interesting and to be honest it was the only needle that hurts the most lol.
When they stick the needles in you, it feels like when you have a led pencil and you stick it in your skin pretending like its a shot.

I am a Graphic designer and had a numbness arm could not hold a mouse and click at all. Seems like carpal tunnel but a bit different. I needed a quick cure at the time. Patricia is a great healer. She found what caused. It's from my stiff shoulder. She made my days!

Brandon was a serious life saver! My sister got horrible flu while we were on vacation. My brother, who is also an acupuncturist, begged me on the phone to get her in for a treatment and convinced me that they could "get the fever out" if it was treated early. We called Brandon on the second day and he took her in the same day. Her head was swollen, red, high fever, I had to use a wheelchair to get her from the hotel to his place. Today was my first time getting acupuncture and cupping done for my lower back pain/strain. I love the area that this place is located. Less like city life to me. Anyway, there was a bit of a wait, and Brandon mentioned that it was busy. It was funny, because I definitely couldn't tell that it was busy. The atmosphere there is so calm, quiet, and relaxing. It definitely helped with my anxiety going to a new business.

OMG! Brandon is amazing and I went in with my lower back in pain and he did many things to help like cupping and acupuncture along with some deep tissue massage at the end. By the time I left I could walk way better than when I went in and their prices are the best in town. I will definitely be a returning customer and I will also be recommending him to everyone I know. My children and I have been going to Kamaaina acupuncture for over a month now and we love it. I have been to many places before and this is the best service I have received. The price is excellent and I am so grateful for the sliding scale or I would not be able to afford it. Brandon is our therapist, and he does such an outstanding job I can not recommend him highly enough.
