Steve and his team have been fantastic to work with; they quickly supported me when my national lender couldn't get the job done in time. I learned very fast that you should always pick a local lender. The communication was excellent, the process was quick and smooth, and he answered all my questions (I had a lot!). The mortgage process from start to finish for me was less than a month. If you are in MN and need a mortgage, Steve and his team at Mortgages Unlimited should be your only go-to!

Steve and his team are excellent! I am just closing on my home and they went above and beyond to make sure I understood the full process. They are always available to answer questions. I used Mortgages Unlimited the first time 6 years ago after going through a divorce to purchase a home by myself and he made things so much less stressful. When another lender we talked to said we wouldn’t be able to close the type of loan we requested Steve called us 5 minutes after looking and said APPROVED. He had the experience and knew where to go with our loan terms to get us exactly what we were looking for!
We appreciated having Steve to explain in as little or as much detail as we wanted for each process of our loan. He also communicated via phone call and email as needed appropriately when he needed to provide more information or send numbers

Would not recommend Steve Furlong to anyone, especially a first time home buyer. Communication was horrible between him and his “team”. Multiple red flags right away with this lender, that I overlooked not knowing any better. I was initially denied and then when I called him out about the reason for denial that he listed, suddenly upon further review I’m approved!! He obviously was overworked and didn’t pay attention to the details of my application. He never took anytime to explain the process of my loan, and just assumed I should know all about the different aspects and terms he was using

The real estate agent they recommended was awesome, and added to the ease of the home buying process.
