I've seen Dr. Wilmes for years and I have chronic gum disease that has progressed over the years. While I like the doctor's chair side demeanor, his staff made me feel like "poor white trash" after they found out that my insurance didn't cover very much. His assistant picked thru my mouth twice before the doctor did, and she then determined that all I could afford was an extraction. She seemed insulted, when I wanted the doctor's opinion. I ended up walking out with a abscessed tooth and no resolution to save it. Sorry if I happen to want to try to save my teeth..... and YES I have the money in

We have been going to Dr. Wilmes ever since he came to Wentzville. He is a wonderful dentist he cares about his patients he has helped me out so much. If you want a dentist that cares you need to setup a appointment with this dentist and his staff. Thank you Dr. Wilmes for all you have done for me and my family.

Posting on behalf of my grandfather, Juan, who recently had dental work done by Dr. Wilmes and was completely blindsided at checkout when the receptionist informed him that Dr. Wilmes had dropped his insurance and he had to pay full price for the procedure out of pocket. At no point during the steps and visits leading up to this procedure was my grandfather notified that his insurance was no longer accepted - otherwise he would have needed to re-evaluate how to manage receiving this procedure. Honestly, I’m absolutely disgusted by the thought of healthcare practitioners (and insurance providers

We absolutely LOVE Dr Wilmes!! There isn’t one thing negative I could or would ever say about either one of his offices both Wentzville and Warrenton staff members ARE AMAZING and the Doc himself is beyond incredible!! Throughout my life and now my children’s we have yet to come across a more professional and honorable dentist than Wilmes!! He is a stand up man, doesn’t give the run around, doesn’t charge an arm n a leg for his services. He’s a real person that loves his profession and it shows! If you’re looking for a family dentist or just yourself (emergency or not) LOOK NO FURTHER
