I love alpha fitness!!! The classes are great, all the employees are so helpful and polite. You don't walk in and feel uncomfortable about being there, everyone is so welcoming and truly want to help you reach your goal. I'm so happy I started going here instead of anywhere else in my area. Definitely a 5 star experience every time I walk in the door. 💪🙂

I waited 5 months to write a review. This place is the best. Great equipment, great atmosphere, the classes are hard core, and the people are great. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with smiling faces. It's really a great place to work out. I am so glad I joined.

Amazing owners and amazing atmosphere!!! This gym has something to offer everybody and starting in May it will be open 24 hours!! The best just just keeps getting better!!

When in the Sparta Newton area I only go to Alpha Fitness. Great equipment, friendly staff and pretty hardcore. Love the Iron Basement. Got the family plan.

Just came back to ALPHA. Felt safe in my workouts and observed constant cleaning and safety measures.

Great place love spin class with Lorraine. Deb at the front desk is always so cheerful she remembers and greats everyone pretty much by name. Equipment and facility is very clean. Try it for yourself I don't think you will be disappointed.

Nice gym and staff! The owners seem to always put attention on making improvements to the equipment and space, which is impressive. An easy and loose payment structure is pretty cool too (no year-long commitments or anything). I definitely recommend 👍

My husband has been a member for a year and due to hardship of bankruptcy and a DUI, he has to cancel his membership. He is unable to get there in person as he can't drive and I have been seriously ill. I over heard his conversation with Debbie and how he explained his current situation and how he needed to cancel his membership and she refused to help him. Stated the only way was to come in person. After he said he couldn't do that, she proceeded to berate him and said their was no other way to get out of the membership and hung up on him.

This gym is a legitimate weight-lifters paradise. If you like free weights and racks then you will not be disappointed.

Hey everyone! I wanted to inform you guys about what transpired at alpha fitness in newton. I paid $120 at the beginning of this month to join and utilize the child watch they offer. Unfortunately they were negligent toward my two children on two separate occasions. The first occasion was on January 28th, I dropped off my 6 month old between 9:30 and 10:30 to take a class. When I picked him up I found blood on his onesie. I checked him over and realized it was another child's blood on him. The second occurrence happened just last week. I dropped my 6 month old and 2 year old at child watch

Alpha is by far the Best Gym around! The equipment is awesome and there is plenty of it for all types of training. They offer classes of all levels if intensity and they are awesome as well. The Owners and staff are very professional and always helpful! If you join you will not be disappointed in becoming part of the Alpha Family!!! Thank you Anthony, Janessa and the entire Alpha Team!

I've been going here for about 6 months. I've really hated almost every moment of going here. First of all, it's like working out in a dungeon. If that's your thing than you'll love it, not for me tho. Equipment is meh, cables on the machines are old and dont work smoothly. Everything in this gym is black and red, gets very depressing after a while. Management isnt all that great. Music in the gym is WAYYYY too loud, u cant even drown it out with headphones turned all the way up. LOCKER room BLOWS, I mean it's not even a locker room. More like a closet, if your getting

3 Stars for the some of the older equipment and for how loud they often play the music. I prefer to listen to my own music but this isn't usually possible due to how loud their music is(very overbearing.)

The price is very comparable to other gyms in the area, and if you have kids, they offer child care. The location is great, centrally located in town. The parking in the front is limited, but the parking lot on side and back of building has ample spaces! Get

Lousy gym, minimal parking available, inappropriate gym music, dated equipment & not the most friendly ownership. Avoid this gym.

Hoping this gets to 5 stars someday. Too many political conversations that are way too loud (I want my blood pressure going up from a workout, not a loud mouth), wish there was a floater staff around who could give some on new or unfamiliar equipment, sample training plans would be wonderful and hoping for more classes on weekends. That said, I really do enjoy the gym and the staff!!

HORRIBLE customer service. Went through hell to cancel my membership, and spoke with the owner who spoke down to me the entire conversation. He refused to listen to anything I had to say, and accused me of lying about the false information I was given (by his sister who works behind the desk). I don't even care that they refused to give my money back, simply how I was treated as a human being. If you do decide to go, know that you must let them know 31 days in advance that you want to cancel or they will continue charging you.
