The Children's Corner Learning Center has been a part of the Orange Park community for 30 years. It is owned by Nancy Mitchell. Here our staff believe that each child is unique and develops at their own rate. We believe that The Children's Corner is not just a place to go but a place to grow. We offer exceptional education for children 18 months to 5 years old.
Services
Activities will include early literacy, hands on math & science activities, art, music, fine & gross motor skills and social/emotional development. This program will provide your child with age appropriate activities to prepare your child for kindergarden. Curriculum will include - Hooked on Phonics, land of the Letter People, Macmillan Science, hands on math activities and spanish.
I visited at least fifteen daycares prior to touring The Children's Corner. Once I took the tour, I immediately knew that The Children's Corner would be a safe and enjoyable environment for my son to be in daily. I truly admire and appreciate the patience the staff has in caring for the children. I'm grateful for the before an after school pick-up from his elementary school.
We provide a memorable summer camp experience for you and your child. Our staff and our facilities are top-notch and are a perfect combination for safe, fun and educational summer fun. Exciting new programs are in place for the 2019 Camp Session! Day trips are offered and give campers fun opportunities to make lasting memories with friends.

Called to see if there was a space available for my 4 year old son Cristian. I was trying to explain that my son Cristian has a speech delay and a IEP for such. He can talk, just not fluidly like some of his peers, he is potty trained COMPLETELY and he is an absolute sweetheart. Before I could finish my sentence I was cut of by Ilene when she told me that they would not be able to accommodate him because of his disability. I could not even get to the point of bringing him in for a tour and for them to meet him. I serve in the US Navy and upon moving to Jacksonville, I have been having the hardest

My children, 8 and 6 years old currently have attended The Children’s Corner since they were both 2 1/2 years old. They love daycare. Most importantly I love the daycare. I have always felt that my children were safe and loved in this environment. They have made childhood friends at the center. The employees are great with the kids. My children now only go in the afternoons after school and on holidays. They pick them up from school and bring back to the center. They offer a summer program as well that keeps the kids entertained.

My son started at The Children's Corner in their pre-k program and has since attended their summer camp and after school care program for the past couple of years. We absolutely love this learning center and all of the staff, too. They always go above and beyond when it comes to teaching and caring for the children. We've experienced 3 wonderful years with them and highly recommend!!

Children's Corner has been such a blessing for our family! Everyone, from the director to the front office staff to the teachers, cares for the children that come through there. You can see it in the way that they structure their center, interact with the children and each other, and work with the families to ensure that our children are receiving the best experience possible. I also appreciate that they have almost no staff turnover. (This has been an issue with previous daycares we've attended.) My children love going here and have grown so much both academically and socially.

I rave about these amazing ladies all the time when someone is looking for great child care! Our daughter has been going there for roughly 2 years and I don't plan on moving her to anywhere else in the future! They are the most compassionate and loving group of women you will find! They take in your child like their own and it's amazing they know ever child's name even the teachers that don't see her for her age group. They are always planning something fun and exciting for the kids and are great with feedback on your child's day to day activities! You know it's a great place when our daughter
