Reliable Rexall Sunset Pharmacy is an independent pharmacy in the inner sunset neighborhood of San Francisco. The location has been a pharmacy since 1959, with several different pharmacies operating during that time. Sean and Will, both New Zealand pharmacists, are always happy to chat about your health and wellness.

The pharmacy tech doesn’t wear a mask. I wanted to get my Covid booster here and shop at an independent pharmacy but I did neither because of the mask situation. I don’t know, maybe if you’re getting a vaccine, have it at a place that practices sanitary conditions. The women in front of me at the pharmacy register asked him, very politely, why he doesn’t and he smugly said he doesn’t have to. It was also not possible to shop because the vast majority of the shelves are empty. I read some other reviews and apparently the lack of both merchandise and RX meds has been a problem for over

I’ve filled a prescription here a few times since moving to the neighborhood, very pleasant.
Went back to fill a fairly common prescription yesterday and was turned away because they don’t have stock. I can wait, asked if they’d order it, but they said no and to go to another pharmacy.
Didn’t feel very reliable or neighborhood-y. Would much rather support local business, but maybe the cost to them is too high? Unfortunately probably won’t be back, but I hope for the best for them.

Had a very unfortunate experience with this pharmacy that took over a week for a simple transfer to be completed and involved me being a middle man through countless phone calls of he said/she said between a rude 'manager', Mark, and another large pharmacy chain. Inexcusable amount of time. All of my other experiences have been fine here.

The new owners are wonderful and very helpful, especially the pharmacist Will and the pharmacy tech Mark. They're very supportive and they'll track your refills and have them ready for you to pick up. The customer service is outstanding! The previous owner, Sam, retired so its a completely new operation now and much better run. I highly recommend Sunset Wellness Pharmacy. The pharmacy staff is substantially friendlier and more helpful than the Walgreens on Irving St.
