Randall Property Inspections
Since 2012, Rachel has been inspecting homes, evaluating their structure, plumbing, heating, electrical, & drainage systems, as well as safety features, then educating her clients on the house's condition so they know exactly what they are buying and how to take care of it.

With an eye for detail and patient explanations, Rachel is an ideal choice for first time home buyers, single women, and discriminating buyers who want their purchase carefully scrutinized. Her home inspections typically range from 3-5 hours long depending on the size of the house and you have the choice of following along as she performs the inspection or meeting her at the end for a recap.

Rachel Randall is a graduate of the American Home Inspectors Training Institute. She bears Indiana Home Inspectors License # HI01200009. Rachel has also been certified by the National Environmental Health Association's National Radon Proficiency Program (NEHA-NRPP) as a Residential Measurement Provider, ID # 106691RT.
A home inspection is a complete evaluation of the home's health coupled with a thorough explanation to the home buyer so they can proceed with the transaction fully aware of the house's conditions. No house is perfect and each comes with a different list of maintenance instructions.

By the end of the inspection, the buyer will know what items need prompt attention, how to maintain the house and its systems, and what systems may need to be replaced in the coming years. This is a fixable problem, but you first need to test your home to discover the radon levels and whether they are high enough to take action.
If a house has elevated radon levels, the problem is fixable. There are mitigation systems that draw up the radon beneath the slab and exhales it outside the house. If the house you're buying tests high for radon, it's reasonable to ask the seller to install a radon mitigation system before closing.
Home Inspection pricing is based on the total square footage of the home, including basement. Price includes the inspection of an attached garage. After debating on whether to get a home inspection due to the newness of the home we were purchasing, we decided to go with Randall Property Inspections.

After debating on whether to get a home inspection due to the newness of the home we were purchasing, we decided to go with Randall Property Inspections. We settled on an inspection because of our unfamiliarity with log homes. Rachel was quick to respond and on time the day of the inspection. After spending some time with Rachel on the site I could tell she was thorough, but it wasn't until after I received the report that I was "wowed".
Not only did she discover many things that needed to be addressed immediately, but she basically created a blueprint to reference when repairing minor details
