Patchogue Animal Hospital

This hospital should really be investigated. My heart goes out to the owner of the dog dying because of an ear infection and others who lost their dogs.
I had a similar issue with VCA Westbury but thank god I was able to take my dog out on time and took him to Crawford which saved his life.
I can only imagine what these owners are going through since their dogs mean so much to their lives. my dog is my Therapy, my best friend, my life.
This has to Stop.

Eva Armfield ($$$$) only cares about money. Does not have the capacity to care about her patients or their owners. Severe personality disorder. Absolutely shameful woman. She thinks that because she spent her life as a student and became a veterinarian that she is better than her customers, who are good and humble people. She most likely has severe OCD and eats nothing but simple carbohydrates. Absolutely disgusting.

Dr. Armfield is kind and caring. Her staff is friendly and efficient. We have been bringing our pets here since Dr. Atlas was here, over 30 years.

My male cat was missing for 18 days, they understood and guided me thru his return. A medicated bath , and check up.

Dr. Armfield is absolutely the best. She is caring, thorough and easy to talk to. I have been taking my Luna to her office and I have been extremely happy with the care that has been given to Luna. The doctor takes the time to talk to you, explain things, ask questions and treats your pet with the best care. Also her staff is friendly considerate and goes the extra mile. Dr. Armfield saved my dog's life when he had cancer. She is so kind and knowledgeable. Her staff is compassionate and friendly as well. They fit us in for an emergency and their prices are very reasonable. They are doing curbside service during the pandemic. The staff goes to my car to bring my dog into the hospital rain or shine with a smile. So grateful to have found them!

I bring my dog and cat here, I love the service! The staff is very friendly and compassionate! I love that it is a small practice, giving it a warm and caring environment. Anything you need they are simply a call away. I've had the staff wait for me to come pick up medication and they are always able to squeeze me in if I have an emergency! They are always willing to listen and giving me several options. I find there is no strings attached with Doctor Armfield, they are always clear and willing to explain everything. I brought what I viewed as a perfectly healthy dog to the patchogue animal hospital for a routine ear exam. My dog walked in, and was carried out, calls of panic were placed to Dr Armfield no less than four times, two from her parking lot alone before even leaving the office, being told to not worry, the dogs fine, take her home, let the meds wear off. taking this vets advise, in my opinion, cost me my best friend, my everything, and tore a family's heart out , as she died the next morning. How can a Doctor ignore the calls of urgency?? How can a Doctor of all people be so callous. The poor dog

Love this place. We crossed paths when we pulled a puppy from the NYC shelter who had been exposed to parvo. Being from a rescue they were absolutely wonderful in their treatment and every interaction we've had with them has been nothing but a pleasure.
