I was grateful to have been able to book Last Minute Houston Movers at, indeed, the last minute. The quote I received was not an unexpected amount as my move entailed a 3hr drive, and the quote was very close to what I ended up paying (a bit more was added by the end due to the extra time it took). I had originally booked them for a Tuesday but they had to push back by a day due to their move the day before going until 5:30am the morning of. Luckily I had nowhere to be that day so it ended up working out and I was happy to give them time to rest, but I am concerned that the movers may be getting

This is a negative star! Not only were my mover an hour an a half late, they were beyond in comparable. When they arrived I noticed they were low on energy and dragging, so I felt bad and started assisting. I had no problem getting my hands dirty (FYI I m 5'5 and 135 lbs) one of the employees actually started delegating me to lift and move things.
Typically, when you receive a quote it usually increases, however my issue isn't the amount I paid...it's the service and the owner's Professionalism .
Once the truck was loaded I called the owner and asked him to pep up his movers

Please do not book this "company" to move a single thing for you. You will regret it. They are completely unprofessional (particularly the owner) but I guess if you got yourself a truck and two friends you can pretend to be a moving company.
I used this company once before and I think by complete accident, everything went smoothly the first time so i decided to book them again. Major mistake. I scheduled a move WEEKS in advance needing help moving to an apartment literally down the hall in the same building. My booking time was for a 12:00-2:00 arrival. That window came and left with

They really saved the day. I could go and on! But it should suffice that this is quite literally the most eponymous business in Houston! They really showed up last minute and on their last wind (since we called in desperate need of help after we got ghosted by another company: STARGEL?? Yeah. Don't call those guys no matter what you do). Last Minute Houston Movers killed it!!! Heavy furniture up 3 flights of stairs after working all day? Not a problem for my dudes. If you have the entire day to wait on movers who don't honor their promise, price gauge and don't complete the work, then this company is for you.
Asked for:
2 movers x 2 hrs excluding travel time for less than 14 items to take place 2 days following the quote to start at 9-11am in order to meet move out deadline that afternoon at 4pm. Quote came out to $232 to include 2 men $79/hr plus $69 trip charge, a large truck, full service, free padding, shrink wrap and disassemble/ assemble of 1 bed.
What happened:
Owner submitted an invoice for 4-6pm. Called owner on quote day to correct
Asked for:
