For years I listened to client after client make excuses about why they weren't coming in as often as they were supposed to to maintain their hair properly and then one day it hit me, it wasn't the clients that were the problem. It was the traditional approach to doing hair that needed a makeover. I spent the next few years developing, practicing and perfecting techniques that would completely revolutionize the way I approached hair color.

After my stylist of 30-years retired, Ashley was the perfect transition I was looking for. As a 50-something, I wanted a fresh, new update. I have been going to Ashley for a couple years now and I love her! She's straightforward and will tell you what will work and what won't. She's honest, and won't add extra unnecessary services just to make more money. She has a points/rewards system. She's very nice, and knows when you want to relax and listen to music vs when you're in a chit chat mood. She gives you her opinion if you ask and won't push you towards anything you don't want. She's very professional - and most importantly she knows her stuff!

I see so many women on social media searching for a great colorist, not too expensive, who will work with your schedule. I just HAVE to post this about Ashley Ridgley at Entangled, https://www.facebook.com/218886808586077/, in Orland Park. She has a one chair salon (not that she rents from a big salon owner) but runs herself in Sola Salon, 159th and Lagrange. She is so talented, young, but GOING PLACES! I struggled finding a good stylist after my original left the business. I was so lucky to find Ashley through a friend (who always has great hair!). She's been amazing! My color is always perfect, and I trust her decisions. Half the time I'm not exactly sure what I want, but it always comes out great!

Being new to the area I looked to Yelp to help me find a new hair colorist. Boy am I glad I did! Ashley is amazing. She creates a very welcoming environment and is incredible at what she does. The Sola Salon was also a little different as it multiple small salons, but when you find her, she greets you warmly and makes sure you are comfortable with everything. Very professional, great results - what else can you ask for?

I went here Saturday for a gloss/shine bomb as Ashley calls it. I needed to perk up my dull looking hair. Ashley is very professional with a lot of good ideas, I will go to her for my next highlight so I'll post more pics then. She is located in the Sola Salon which is a multiple salon owner small salons. Definitely a great experience!

Asked for the Blackberry hair color. Ashley put several different tones on purple and blue in my hair. Took about 4 hours, I absolutely loved it... until I washed it for the first time. The color faded significantly that it wasn't even purple anymore. I've been getting my hair colored my whole life, I know colors have a tendency to fade over time, but not just one washing. She uses Redken, and my first experience with this color is it's terrible. I let Ashley aware of this, she blamed my shampoo even before knowing what I used. Honey it's not the Shampoo, it's the same

I have been going to Ashley for several years now. I brought my sister, my mom, friends, and anyone who will listen to me to her. She is great with color. She is a rare person who will honestly tell you what she thinks will look good on you and what won't. I completely trust her. She is not going to upsell you and she even thinks about you when you are away. I love it when I get a picture sent to me with a suggestion for a new look. I am always thrilled with the results. I wish I could keep her to myself but she is too awesome and must be shared with the world!
