Hi! My name is Melissa Novak and if you ask my parents they would say that I am a natural-born stylist. When I was a young child I cut my hair not once, but twice! I was also known to have cut the hair of my dolls. Because of this I was given the nickname "Buzzweed". As I grew up I found great inspiration from my Aunt Val.

Melissa is a true hair artist. The type of stylist you always hope for but aren’t always lucky enough to find. I stumbled upon her by searching for stylists in the area and I’m so glad I did. I came in with hair that needed a lot of love (we are talking 2 years since my last color/cut) and she transformed my hair into something so beautiful yet natural and manageable. She’s also very informative and recommends products based on your needs, but is in no way pushy about them. You can tell she just wants you to do what’s best for your hair. Well where to begin? I can’t say enough about Melissa and her magical skills with hair!! I’ve known Melissa most of our lives. She is a special person and has a great work ethic. I moved away when we were teenagers. However, about 7 years ago I moved back to the area and I was so relieved to have Melissa taking care of my hair again. Now, I take my daughters to her too. We all have super thick, wavy, curly hair. She knows how to shape and clean up our hair so it looks rejuvenated and refreshed. I’ve referred others to Melissa because I know she is professional and strives to do her job perfectly

So happy I found Melissa! I have long, curly, color treated, thick hair. You have to be a true professional to work on my hair! Melissa is a pro! I literally panic when I sit in salon chairs, but not with Melissa. I knew I was in good hands during our consultation and I love the final results!
