These Standards of Practice provide guidelines for a real estate inspection and define certain terms relating to these inspections. Italicized words in these Standards are defined in Part IV, Glossary of Terms.

Selecting the right home inspector can be a challenge. Unlike most professions, we will most likely meet after you hire me rather than before. In addition, home inspectors have varying qualifications, equipment, experience, reporting methods and, yes, different pricing. But one thing is for sure: a home inspection requires work - a lot of work.
