Caginos is good ole fashioned Italian cuisine. If you miss delucas this is basically the same pizza, I'd say better. The pasta has always been way good. Staff is friendly. Atmosphere is great and comfortable.
Now if your hungry beware of the bread sticks. They're massive but wonderful.
Enjoy this great place!

Me and a friend were excited to go and get spaghetti and meatballs from this place because we heard so much about it for a long time let me tell you gross if you like a pile of wet noodles grounded in sauce with meatballs that taste like spaghetti and meatballs meatballs then I guess that's the place you want to go waitress never did come back and fill our drinks she never even asked and let me tell you the breadstick was like an Ellie Mae clampet from The Beverly hillbillies it was hard it had no taste other than of yeast and it was heavy and it was just absolutely gross I'm sorry but we won't

What a great little spot in Grand Ledge! While the staff was definitely on the younger side, they were friendly and efficient. The place was clean and "date night" atmospheric. We were seated immediately on a Monday evening. There was one thing I would have changed: It was pretty chilly inside. I don't get cold easily but I was definitely a bit uncomfortable with the temperature. It may be they don't have the "winter" temperature settings going yet, who knows... take a jacket maybe. Anyway we ordered the Arancini to start and it was delicious. We also got a couple

DELICIOUS ITALIAN - COME HUNGRY! - TIPS BELOW
After a Tuesday full of meetings, our customers in Lansing chose this restaurant for dinner. PQ made the reservation and Frank C. promised a good experience, not only because he knew the owner and they had been here multiple times, but because everyone in the office loved it!
When Kylee came to take our order she was very kind, fast and amicable.... And the food was out very quickly despite being a super busy night.
For appetizers we ordered the bread sticks ($10) with cheese . You can order them without cheese but we all agreed with Kelly in

I stopped into Cugino's at dinner time on a Saturday afternoon. My family and I were a bit intimidated at first by the line going out the door, but we were assured that the wait would only be thirty minutes. We were told that we were welcome to sit at the bar while we waited, and the bartenders were very nice and accommodating. While we had already seen a menu online, they offered to show us a menu in case we wanted to be ready when we were seated.
Within thirty minutes we were seated, and our waitress took our orders very promptly. And was very kind in recommending portions and what we should

Somehow another Italian joint in Lansing wins awards. Not sure why as Cugino's is the best Italian food in the Lansing are. The only place that makes Pasta Carbonara the right way. When you order pasta, unlike the other award winner, there's not a half inch of water on the plate. The breadsticks are a meal on their own. Get there early on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday as they get super crowded.

SO GOOD. My friends and I had been craving good pasta for weeks and couldn't find a good place in East Lansing. My friend found Cugino's on yelp because they had gluten free pastas and she has a gluten allergy. It was only about a 20 min. drive from MSU.
The atmosphere was great, felt like it was a very family oriented restaurant and had a lot of high schoolers working there. Also had a cute patio. Also the service was surprisingly very fast.
The pasta was amazing, and the Chicago pizza looked even better. We decided we had to come back to try it later on this summer!

Follow our fellow Yelper's recommendations when you are in Grand Ledge, Michigan This is a great Italian restaurant. There was no wait when we arrived and we were seated in a comfortable booth. When our waitress came to the table we asked for suggestions and we finally settled on the lasagna (full order) which comes with side salad or soup and garlic breadstick.
The side salad was a great size and had fresh vegetables on it. This is a great value with dinner orders.
The lasagna was excellent. It is an enormous portion served piping hot and covered in cheese. The garlic breadstick is enough

Friday night dinner rush, only a 20 minute wait for 5. We were able to grab a tall beer and a glass of wine for a very reasonable price while we waited. The wait proved to be about 10 min as we were seated immediately.
We ordered the House special, Calabrese, and mushroom/pepperoni/sliced sausage pizzas. All proved to be delicious.
If we're paying homage to Mr. Dave Portnoy himself, the one-bite scores are as follows, respectively:
8.2 / 8.1 / 7.8
*scores skewed due to beer consumption*
All in all great experience and would love to come back when the weather is better to sit on the

Stopped in for a quick lunch on our way through. My wife and I shared a 10" Calabrese Pizza which was perfect since we were not very hungry. It was delicious, even though I must add that I asked for anchovies on my half, adding just enough of that extra saltiness to the pizza. Our server Laura was very attentive and we enjoyed our quick pizza and beer lunch!
