There has been nothing that I have ordered that hasn't been delicious. Their hot and sour soup is awesome. Food is always hot and fresh. They don't charge an insane delivery. Their prices are fair, and I never finish my deluxe combo in one sitting it is good size and the egg roll is the bomb.

Not sure who's cooking now? We Got home and the fried rice & jasmin rice was under/over cooked. So it was kinda mushy/hard & the other side were really salty. Had been coming there for over a year & its just not the same.

Egg Foo young was good, decent sized shrimp in it. The fried rice is very bland. The establishment reminds me of New York (east coast) style Chinese food. While I'm not a fan I can understand why people here like it. Better than some of the other options. However, I rather just go without Chinese whenever I'm here vs sacrifice with this.

I was disappointed. My wife got me a care package of hot & soup and szechuan beef extra hot. The soup was pretty good--i would recommend it. The beef was just OK and devoid of heat, save for one mouthful that had just a glimmer of peppers. This simply not spicy hot at all. That my wife specifically said hot, I'm not impressed. Given all the Chinese places in the area I'll be trying others.

Doesn't look like much from the street, no inside seating still, but turned out to be great carry out. We got the triple treat, with lo mein. Lots of meat, very good. The spring rolls were great, the egg roll was a bit dry. Also had the chicken curry dish, really good take on curry. Will go again

I don’t know how this place has 4.4 stars but they have the worst noodles you can get in EL. like the spices are all over the place with an overwhelming amount of salt. they added shrimp when i didn’t even ask for it. waste of $22

First of all, this place is DISGUSTING inside. bugs everywhere & not clean at all. the food matches the place. second, their menu has no descriptions. we ordered a veggie delight and received steamed veggies. the chow mein was like rubber. absolutely no sauce and my order costed me around $30.

First time ordering from here. General Tsos was basically vinegar chicken. No flavor, no spice. I paid extra for fried rice, that tasted like white rice that was yellow. My sons sweet and sour chicken was decent, but the majority of our almost 50.00 order was not. I was swayed by the rating to order from here, but wont order it again.

I do not each much Chinese because I try to limit my sodium intake. But over the weekend, I tried Asian Gourmet, and it was good Chinese food. I gave this place 4/5 stars because if a place claims to be gourmet, there had better be something unique about the food. Since I do not eat Chinese food much at all, I walked in on a Sunday afternoon around 2:30 and ordered a carryout dish of vegetable lo mein. It took about 8-10 minutes before it was ready. Once I made it back home, I ate the lo mein. The lo mein was good because everything was balanced: vegetables seemed fresh because they had that crunch

First time trying this place. My husband and I loved it! Reasonable price for great tasting food. I ordered the Orange Chicken. My husband had Spicy Crispy Chicken with Jalapenos. We will return.

Dumplings, noodles, rice, and chicken! Such a good order for a Sunday spent inside. I had this food ordered for delivery and it was delivered so quickly. I am such a sucker for dumplings and these were not a disappointment. If you're looking for some fast and reliable Asian cuisine, I recommend.

Asian Gourmet is the seriously underrated underdog! Although it's not the most "authentic" Chinese foods, I think they serve the Lansing area well with its Americanized Chinese cuisine. I have had delivery twice and the quoted time was accurate, even in snowy weather! It's best to call directly to the restaurant to place the order versus ordering the money-grubbing GrubHub DoorDash or Eat24. Plus you'll avoid the corporate upcharges and can tip the staff directly!

Ordered the lunch specials: Mongolian beef, shrimp in lobster sauce, General Tso's chicken, crab rangoon

Caution: be a little mad that their spring rolls don't come with sauce. HOW DO YOU DELIVER WITHOUT SAUCE? Entirely a sin to do. Very sad. Edible but not. Rather not eat.

Pad Thai is dry and non traditional. Dry, no seasoning or flavor. Just gross. Its disgusting. Worst I ever had. They weren't trying. It is absolutely weird and gross.

Most disappointing place.

It is I rather eat my kettle chips than these noodles bad.

5 out of 5 for the quality of food! The chicken stood out as the best you can get at an Asian restaurant around here as sometimes the quality is questionable at other places. I agree with other reviewers, the crag Rangoon is absolutely delicious! The atmosphere cloud be better, the place needs some TLC but that didn't stop my bf and I from chowing down right there and it is clean, just is missing character.

You may question the food by the building, at least I did. Don't let that ruin your opinion!

When you stroll up the the restaurant you see the unkept interior, especially compared to the retro coffee shop a door down. I definitely would not suggest eating there, but PICKUP.

This is the best Chinese pickup in the area! My go-to meal is the standard egg drop soup (delish and large), sweet and sour chicken, and fried rice. Each item is better than the next. All extremely large portions that can be saved for days. Try it!

I've tried several Asian restaurants/take-out in Lansing and have not been impressed with much, that is, until we tried Asian Gourmet!
The place is not anything special, but wow, the food was very good! Hot, fresh, fast. Not super greasy or heavy. Our order was ready in under 20 minutes too. Very fast!
I ordered the Chicken Chow Fun. It had delicious flavor and the chicken was very good quality (I know the meat at many of these places can be suspect, or low quality, so this was a pleasant surprise).
My husband ordered Shrimp Egg Foo Young and very much liked his dish as well.

I ordered delivery last night and overall it was ok. One highlight is they deliver and they were still open at 11pm.

I ordered the eggplant and sweet and sour shrimp. The eggplant was cooked well, but lacked flavor. The sweet and sour shrimp was a little oily, but had great flavor. Also they cut the shrimp in half so essentially you only get like 3 shrimp.
