Our experience for Season Grill catering our wedding reception from start to finish was excellent. My husband and I enjoyed our taste testing from items on the menu and ended. The roast beef in gravy sauce was the star of the show. Not only was it tender, but the flavor rendered many compliments from our wedding guests.

Services
Renovations to what was an old print shop include a custom-made wooden bar. Justin Straube's college plan for his own restaurant has gone from paper to reality with the opening of Seasonal Grille in his hometown. Located in the former Hastings Press building at the corner of Church and State streets, the 100-plus-year-old building is being restored into what its owners hope will be a downtown showpiece.
Sea legs, feta cheese, cream cheese, house spices, and roasted red peppers are all brought together and served with warm crostinis. Classic tomato and basil bruschetta, strawberry basil bruschetta, and spanish olive bruschetta served with toasted crostinis finished with balsamic reduction. Calamari steaks cut in to strips and crusted in our blend of coconut and panko bread crumbs served with sweet thai chili.

Gotta say we did NOT have a good experience. We got there right when they opened at 11a.m. and got a table. The waitress took our orders. Several other families came in after us and they all received their food very quickly. We waited over an hour for breakfast to be brought to our table and it was cold when it finally arrived. The waitress apologized for the delay and explained that that someone called in a order for 8 pizzas. (I'm not sure why they were prioritized over people actually in the restaurant. I will say that the food tasted good but was too cold to really appreciate it.

We ended up being very happy that the place we were originally going for lunch on this Monday was closed, so we ended up here for lunch and what an amazing experience. Service was on the slow side but they were understaffed like everyone else, but the waitress was very polite and helpful. Our food was amazing, especially the butternut squash soup which is to die for. Fish and chips were out of this world and our appetizers were also delightful. We cannot wait to go back and try other items off the menu!

Every place was packed tonight. Especially our higher end restaurants. Seasonal was able to seat us right away. And service was impeccable. My pork was undercooked. But addressed right away and corrected. As well as our desserts being comped. It was a wonderful dining experience, with wonderful service and food over all.

Seasonal is by far the best restaurant in Hastings, so naturally we contacted them in hopes they could cater our wedding. Not only did they cater, Justin helped us with many details that come with expertise. He was a calming and communicative presence during a stressful time!

Jordan led a courteous team, they had to improvise left and right (in 100% humidity) because we had to move our venue from a considerably large tent to a pole barn. Went for our 35th anniversary dinner. We wanted to support our local restaurants instead of heading into Grand Rapids. Both our Aloha chicken and salmon dinners were delicious!! I also went this past week with friends for tortellini Tuesday. 😋 Looking forward to the next wine dinner, I have attended several before covid restrictions with my sister in law and my daughters and everyone we have attended were awesome. So glad we have seasonal grill in our town.

Excellent food and drinks! The waitress was also our bartender and the Italian Manhattans and the Cosmos were exceptional! We came for an anniversary lunch and this was just a great place to go with super service! Food wasn’t bad either! Lol! Walls were covered in art that was for sale and the vibe was completely relaxed.
