At Retail pharmacies, you can purchase over-the-counter medicines in addition to the medication your doctor prescribes. Specialty pharmacies are different - we dispense medications to treat complex, chronic illnesses such as cystic fibrosis (CF). As a patient of Kroger Specialty Pharmacy, you will receive individualized attention to support your care.
Kroger Specialty Pharmacy is different from a traditional retail pharmacy. Our purpose is to serve patients requiring medications that treat complex and chronic diseases, such as human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). We have access to all HIV treament options, including limited distribution medications and PrEP.

Many of these cancer therapies have requirements by the FDA, and once prescribed, require education and monitoring.

Your benefits plan may require certain out-of-pocket costs for each supply of medicine you receive. Kroger Specialty Pharmacy thoroughly investigates your insurance benefits to ensure your claims are properly submitted. You may qualify for financial help. A qualified specialist can help you understand if resources are available from a manufacturer program or through foundations related to your condition.

I have a speech impairment which is stuttering. Customer service was patient and understanding. That means the world to me, because very few people stutters. most people who stutters if they are cut short because of their speech, it just like a punch in the face, very hurtful. Again thanks to customer services at Kroger Specialty Pharmacy.

The people there are extremely organized and have excellent services. They deal with the insurance company and keep me informed. They are always looking out to help me. It's easy to get your order in and they are fast. There's no waiting for paperwork to move from desk to desk. They find answers fast.

Today is my first shipment from Kroger. I am honestly surprised at how friendly everyone is. There was a shipping mixup and I should have received my package yesterday, but I didn't. I called and spoke with a lady yesterday and she spent several hours figuring out exactly what happened to my shipment. Her customer service skills were amazing. She even stayed in the office for an extra 45 minutes talking with Fedex trying to get me my package sooner.
