In today's difficult and worrisome economy, many families and individuals have decided to hang onto their "paid for" cars and trucks - to avoid taking on the added expense of a monthly car payment. And this means, of course, you need to take extra special care of your current vehicle if you want to get more miles out of it and save money over the long run.

Today's newer cars and trucks are built to last well in excess of 100,000 miles, with many attaining a lifespan of more than 250,000. But this doesn't happen without routine maintenance and the replacement periodically of certain vital components. Knowing which of your car's components are likely to fail, and being aware of when to replace them before they leave you stranded can save you a lot of money and heartache.

Worst place ever takes your money and don't fix anything they claim. Most times didn't get an invoice had to ask for it. Then when you confront them they act like they don't know what your talking about. Thought they were a good place and turns out they are not. Then you have some up there that goes to the other person and goes talking oh I don't know what she wants me to do about it. It's called fix your work. Will not recommend this shop to anyone at all especially if they have kids. Takes your money and don't bother to car if it's a family car.

Getting my oil changed elsewhere, in town, my vehicle started to not turn over, and it wasn't the starter or other associated causes. Subsequently, the vehicle right before another oil change was needed seemed better, yet occasionally having a problem. Returning to"said" oil expert again, I immediately had not only the starter getting stuck, but all my transmission fluid came out while driving. A friend stated to take it to Steve's garage. It wasn't the starter. After replacing the fuel pump, the issue continued. In their dilignce, after many free hours of their expertise, the fuel line was replaced

Yesterday, I took my car to the Toyota dealership for a routine oil change. I was told that I needed to have a $636 dollar repair for an axle that was "slinging grease." Deciding to get a second opinion, I went to Steve's Auto Repair. After putting my car on the rack, Eric, the owner of Steve's, asked me to look at the area the Toyota mechanic had claimed needed repair.
Guess what? It didn't. Eric could have charged me a little bit less for a fictitious issue, and I would have been happy to pay a reduced charge. Instead, he was honest, and I paid him nothing. In the future, I will take my car

I have been doing business with them for about 40 years. I completely rely on their judgement for the maintenance of my vehicle. My car is now at about 100,000 miles and predict many more. Thank you Eric!

Eric always goes the extra mile to explain the issues your vehicle is having. He has worked on both of my high mileage Toyota’s and I have always been very satisfied with the repair work. He was recommended to me by one my local friends and I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to have their vehicle serviced or repaired.
Eric went through a car I wanted to buy, found the issues with it so I was able to negotiate the price down.
Eric’s price on repairs seem fair for the quality of the work you get from his repair shop.

After paying Eric over $700.00 to repair the auto from overheating ( after he had the car for a week ), we didn't get more than 3 miles from his shop when it started over-heating again. We had to wait till Monday to have him tow the car back to his shop.
He didn't call us back for another week. He wanted to hit us up for another repair bill ( crankshaft sensor ) . This time we didn't allow any more service to the car until we knew if the ORIGINAL problem was really fixed this time. The first time , I let him talk us into an oil change and new brakes, thinking he had repaired the over-heating issue

Honest, Very Knowledgeable, Always gives his best effort. Very affordable. Gets the repair done as quickly as possible. Some repairs that I needed were impossibly difficult and this guy got it done.
Be wary of bad reviews for Steve's Auto Repair. He's a top notch mechanic making an honest effort at reasonable prices.

Excellent service! I will be going back to them for any car maintenance I have! They charged half of what dealers charge and actually fixed the problem. They will also sit down with you and explain what is going on and what they are doing to fix it. I learned a lot just going in and asking questions. They are also really good at calling you with updates and they got everything fixed in a timely manner. They are honest and won't just fix something randomly just to charge you money. If something is in question, they will test it and let you know if it is still good or if it is bad instead of just
