Replacing a garage door spring can take anywhere from about 20 minutes to an hour and a half, most commonly taking 30-45 minutes by a trained professional. This will all depend on the size and weight of the garage door, whether your system has one, two, or more springs, the size and weight of the door, and if there are other mechanisms that need to be repaired or replaced as well.

Always used O'Brien Garage Doors in the past.. needed their help a while back and a gentleman came out who was less than enthused to be there on a Saturday. Left a sour impression. I will use them again and hopefully get another person out. I need to have a new garage door seal installed but am hesitant to call them.

The BEST experience. Called at 8 am on a Saturday morning, someone answered before the second ring (The girl who answered was so helpful and kind.), and someone was out to my house by 12:30 that afternoon. That was after I received a courtesy call to tell me when the technician would be at my house. CJ was really great. He not only did the work efficiently, but took the time to explain AND show me what to do in the future with the garage door lube. I will be using them for ALL future garage door needs!! Highly, HIGHLY recommend.
