GoodMedizen was founded in 2008 out of a desire to help people and two guiding principals: always act in the best interest of our patients, and to strive-every moment-to exceed expectations. GoodMedizen has grown into a thriving and highly respected practice in downtown Seattle. Each provider at GoodMedizen is Nationally Board Certified, has a Masters Degree in Acupuncture, and extensive continuing education and experience.
The practitioners at GoodMedizen are all licensed acupuncturists. We firmly believe that acupuncture is the single best tool for helping your body to restore and maintain optimum health. We also recognize that other modalities may be helpful, or in some cases, more appropriate than acupuncture. For this reason we also offer Chinese Herbal Medicine and Clinical Nutrition.
I scheduled an acupuncture appointment for my mother here since she has been having back and neck pain along with headaches that feel connected. Courtney makes acupuncture easy and relaxing. We thoroughly talked through my health issues (not just the back pain I was visiting for but also things like whether I get up at night to go to the bathroom) and she had sound advice regarding dietary choices and whether I should see another specialist. I felt warm and cozy during the session and my back pain seemed to melt away. It was a gentle and memorable introduction to acupuncture.

I had such a pleasant experience with Courtney and GoodMedizen acupuncture & herbs. My sister had purchased a package with them, and she had 4 remaining sessions that she wasn’t going to use. She was able to transfer them to me. I was a little nervous about the needles, but Courtney put me at ease. I felt great after my first session and am looking forward to future sessions. Courtney is the best. I worked with her years ago and she worked miracles for me. Then she started practicing down in Des Moines and that was too far away. But I stumbled on her old business card and found she now has her own practice downtown.
She knows her stuff. She’s helping me work through some carpal tunnel stuff right now. I had relief after just one visit.

I was in a health crisis and decided to try acupuncture. Courtney completely eliminated my arthritis, severe low back pain, poor digestion in a matter of a few months. We've been able to taper down the treatments from twice a week to once a month, and soon I will only need to come seasonally. I sought treatment for severe back pain that didn't allow me to comfortably walk, arthritis in my hands that caused sharp pain and swelling to the point that I could not use my hands and was losing strength in them. And digestion issues (bloating) as I tried to eat a bit healthier (fruit and vegetables). I
