Three chicken enchiladas with mole sauce, lettuce, sour cream, tomatoes and queso fresco on top. Served with rice. Four grilled chicken enchiladas with tomatillo sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream and cheese dip on top. One beef enchilada, one chicken enchilada and one cheese enchilada with lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream.
Shrimp cocktail made with freshly squeezed lime and orange juice, ketchup, onions, cilantro, diced tomatoes, and avocado. Foil wrapped baked fish and shrimp cooked with onions and jalapeos to give it a wonderful flavor. Served with rice and guacamole salad. Grilled Salmon and Shrimp served on a sizzling hot plate on a bed of onions, mushrooms, potatoes and peppers topped off with mango pico.
Burrito with your choice of ground beef or shredded chicken with rice and black beans inside. Served with sour cream and salad. Grilled shrimp, scallops, fish, and crab meat with rice, six different vegetables, and cheese dip on top. Served with lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole, and sour cream. Our tender marinated grilled chicken breast with zucchini, squash, broccoli and spinach topped with cheese dip.

This review I really hate to post because the food here is excellent. I dine here frequently. Went in to order the tacos tequila. I wanted to order and pay for an extra taco, no big deal right?
The waiter was very rude and refused to sell me an extra taco. Not wanting nothing for free. Will never go back here again.

First time there. Sunday at lunch and they do not honor the lunch menu which I did not know and the server screamed at me āNo Lunchā which I did not under stand which made him yell louder. Had 3 different servers and no one spends more than 15 seconds with you. I had questions on where to pay the bill, go box and the restroom and all answered were on the fly. Iām sure they thought they were being friendly but I wasnāt feeling it.
Chicken over cooked, chips stale, way way too much cilantro. I was there by myself, perhaps I didnāt warrant the attention.

This is my absolute favorite Mexican restaurant! I haven't ordered anything that I haven't liked. My go to is three beef tacos with a side of gauc and a side of sour cream. Ask for that anywhere else and you get a teaspoon of each. They give an entire bowl! The guacamole is my favorite! It is delicious and they do not skim on ingredients. Any time I eat Mexican elsewhere, I end up questioning why in the world I didnāt just go to Tequila Grill!

Grilled fish tacos were incredible. I've been searching for some as good as a place back home and I've found them- I think even better! The chips and salsa are excellent, great flavor with just enough spice. Small guac has excellent flavor with nice big chunks of tomato, onion, avocado and cilantro. Friendly staff, quick service and with a smile!

Very sad to do this. And, first, the food is very good! However, we took family there yesterday, Sunday, mid afternoon and the service was slow, condescending, inaccurate and unacceptable or any customer, let alone ones who come almost weekly! When they brought our adult daughters food it wasn't what she ordered. Then they said it didn't come the way she ordered it ( just steak chimichanga) but only with things she didn't want or like (shrimp, chicken). They didn't say that when she ordered it!!! They didn't offer to correct it... they brought 2 large appetizers instead

I love El Ranchito by the MU stadium and it was my fave Mexican joint in the tri-state for awhile but Tequila Grill takes the cake!!! Casa Grande across the river is hands down the best quality, but they're very pricey compared to other joints around. El Ranchito by the MU stadium is cheap, including many drink specials, but as a result, the quality of food is lacking. It's still good, but it just doesn't touch Tequila Grill. Horrible customer service. Drove almost an hour to pick up food and return home. Had wrong food. Called to speak with manager. Told he was not available. The woman on the phone would not tell me when I could speak with him only that he was busy. Made no effort to make their mistake right.. Will never go again. Do yourself a favor, eat at literally any other place on face of the planet for better service.

So.....had dinner here at the Tequila Grill last night and wanted to reflect on our experience. Let me first explain that I am a local gal married to a local guy and we like to support small businesses in our area. During the 3 month COVID lockdown we ordered takeout from many area eateries ( including this one) and always left a 30-40% tip to help the staff as I spent 20 years in the Food & Beverage industry. We sat at the bar and were greeted by the bartender and asked for drink order. My husband is a beer only kind of guy and I'm a liquor girl all the way. I requested a Cadillac Margarita

I've been all over the country and yet have found a Mexican Restaurant like this one! Every dish is ouutstanding! But I just can not get away from the Carne Asada. The steak is marinated delIciously. It comes with grilled jalapeƱo, grilled green onion and grilled cactus leaf. There is nothing that compares. I frequently choose this steak over the surrounding steak houses. Must try!

Started with warm chips and fresh salsa, along with the berry margarita. I had the burrito bowl - plenty of chicken with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, pico de gallio, and cheese. Dining partners had tacos, enchiladas and burritos. Everyone enjoyed their food and said it was delicious.
House margarita on the rocks was perfect. Fresh lime juice.
Took one star away only because the server did not clear the table between courses. We had to pile dishes in the center of the table.

The tilapia (on the lunch menu) and seafood medley (on the lunch and dinner menu) are my favorite menu items. I prefer their lunch portion and wish they offered smaller portions, not just for their lunch items at lunchtime, but for all of their dishes all of the time. Leftovers from the dinner portion reheat well.
The Mexican corn is a delicious treat that I occasionally order (I'll post a photo the next time I order it).
