Saw the place from the freeway... if it has a Hereford on the building you know its good. Sat down fast and ordered fast as well. Ordered a wing appetizer "that came out with the meal" it was a slow night so not the cooks fault that our meal was done the same time. Food was delicious. Great steak!!
The waitress didn't come back and check on us after our food was delivered. It was a slow night and we were right next to the waitress station... drinks got empty. I got asked for a refill when the check was handed to us... maybe just caught the waitress on a bad night...
For sure coming

The food was delicious. I had the tri tip and the meat was tender and when I stuck my fork in it the meat pulled apart in the grains. I had my first experience eating zucchini and summer squash and they were very good. The baked potatoes was perfect. The dining area was about half full. My waitress was on her 2nd day working there and she did a superb job. I also had other servers check on me. My 1 and only criticism is that the parking lot was so icy it was very hard to walk across.

This is the best place for a steak for hundreds of miles around. They ALWAYS cook it perfectly and the sides are good, too. Their pies are beautiful and my husband says they are delicious! I will take his word for it because he certainly eats every bite! The staff is always friendly, too, and the tables are always clean. They have some pretty and interesting art in there, too. The parking is always good for us as we go at lunchtime, and it is in a very convenient location.

I have to credit employee DALTON for making this a surprising late Sunday night find. I'm sure walking in 5 minutes before closing makes tired restaurant staff crabby but not Dalton. Cheerful, helpful, energetic and clearly a guy that enjoys helping people. He was patient and made this a great experience. We will be back!!! Thank you DALTON!

My first time here and I drove 80 miles because people said the ribeyes were so good. First let me say that the service was exceptional and that was pretty much about it! Fried pickles were 90% fried coating and 10% pickle. The pickles were sliced so thin you could barely discern their flavor. My Bloody Mary was good. I ordered the ribeye and now I'm sorry I didn't get the reuben. I ordered it medium and it came well. Also, never saw pecan butter on a steak which was rather unusual but interesting. To me the steak was nothing special and something you would get from the grocery store

What an awesome experience! So it's Labor Day 2021 and my 7 yr old son and I are traveling back north from washougal MX race. We stop here, it looks to be busy, they say 10-15 min wait. I ask if we can sit at the dining room bar and within a few minutes of sitting down I realize this is going to be a good example for my son to either watch how people work together and handle stress well, or see how things spiral down hill when they don't. It was the best decision I ever made to watch this amazing group of teammates! Dalton, the manager was a young man with such an amazing attitude and

This is a stop for me when I am heading south towards Oregon. I should have taken a photo of my food. Its always a good meal and with the 80s to 00s country music it's a great atmosphere. If your looking for a quick bite, friendly service, good food with multiple portion sizes on some meals its definitely worth it.

I had a meal delivered to my husband who is a truck driver, and rarely gets to eat a decent hot meal on the road.
I ordered him the sirloin cooked medium, with a baked potato (typed into the special instructions I specifically stated that he wanted butter, cheese and bacon only; I even said please) and ordered him a side of the Mac n cheese.
First- the $22 sirloin was smaller than MY palm and was completely raw with blood EVERYWHERE.
Second- the Mac n cheese wasn't even edible it tasted so gross. It takes A LOT for us to flat out not eat something, especially something as simple as Mac n

Wow! That's the best way to start off this review. Ramblin Jacks Rib Eye is living proof that you can have an incredible Steak without going to a high end Steakhouse (though I love those too and often do reviews at high end Steakhouses 😁)
I had the smoked Rib Eye and it was really really good! Absolutely delicious 😋
The servers are very accommodating and friendly and this place is 5 Stars all the way!
I gotta come back another time and try something else on their menu. If you're in the area and hungry, this place is definitely worth considering. I give Ramblin Jacks Rib Eye two thumbs

Had been here years ago, maybe 10 or more. Remembered that I thought it was good, so while driving back to pdx from Tacoma we decided to stop for dinner.
First, the decor is still 1970ish. It feels like the restaurants my parents took us to growing up.
We were seated quickly even though it was busy, and our server took our drink order soon after. I noticed that the prices on the steaks were reasonable, not outrageous as many places are. Sirloin for 19.99 as an example. I had a rib eye and i believe it was 23 or 24. Steaks come with a starch and vegetable. I had mashed potatoes and gravy
