Saturday appointments are available and insurance and all major credit cards accepted. New patients are always welcome and senior citizen discounts are available.

We accept all major credit cards, ATM cards, cash, and personal checks. For your convenience, we have arranged a payment plan through a third party, which helps you receive your treatment in a timely manner. In addition to the insurance companies below, financial assistance is available through Care Credit.
Digital x-rays are a more streamlined way of taking dental radiographs. Like traditional x-rays, digital versions provide an in-depth view of the structures of the mouth, helping dentists detect complications and develop effective modes of treatment. Digital x-rays are capable of revealing hidden caries, bone erosion, and even tooth decay hiding beneath restorations.
Convenient location, promptly greeted by front office staff, and quickly seen by the dental assistant. Dr. Arnold was great; explained what he was going to do, and was efficient in going through the process. He highlighted the positives, then focused on the areas of potential concern. He suggested a follow-up visit, and I was on my way.

Lisa made the whole experience very stress free. I have serious anxiety at the dentist, and she was able to make me feel comfortable while informing me of each step of the process. She gave me instructions on after-care. I made an appointment for my next procedure the next day, and feel so much less anxiety about it after my experience with her. Dr. Arnold and his team take exceptional care of their patients. I'm so glad I switched to Dr. Arnold he is very thorough and you can tell he genuinely cares about your well being. He is the dentist for not only my Mom and my Uncle but my Granddaddy has also been a patient of his. Moving to San Francisco and not having a dentist to rely on, I knew which one to switch to when I was informed so many family members were patients of his. Truly well trusted!!!

I am reluctant to go to the dentist, but this experience has given me hope. It was a pleasant visit. The staff was nice and friendly and the office very clean and high tech. Dr. Arnold came over and introduced himself and took me and my daughter's coats. He was thorough and informative and down to earth. I did not feel intimidated at all and I got through the appointment unscathed.

First time visit for pain. I had to be referred out for my root canal because of time constraints. Pain makes me whine and become unreasonable, BUT the office vibe and the people who work there were accommodating and understanding. Dr. Chen diagnosed my issue immediately. All the office staff was personable and friendly as well as efficient! Going back for a regular exam in a few weeks. I recommend.

I was totally blown away by the quality of care and friendly office environment at Arnold & Wilson DDS! The staff, from Ashley at the front desk to Sonam who cleaned my teeth to Janet who took my x-rays, to the other lovely folks who popped in to introduce themselves and say hello--I felt so welcomed and right at home. Dr. Chen took time to get to know me as a new patient and encouraged me to ask (and happily answered) all my tiniest little teeth-related questions. Since 1976 I have been coming to this office for my dental work. Dr. Arnold has always maintained the highest standards of care for his patients in keeping with the latest techniques and materials. I came here after disappointing experience at the other dental office. Dr.Chen is very patient, honest, and straightforward. He's very gentle and swift in his work. I feel like I'm in good hands. The dental assistants Janet and Glory were also very sweet and helpful. Overall the experience was wonderful and I highly recommend this office!

Haven't gone to the dentist is such a long time and I had a terrible experience before but once I came here I Haven't had any pain during filling and even a root canal. I'm super happy with the whole process and how nice and professional everyone is. With my nervousness its easy for me not to disregard but once I went I actually looked foward to getting more work done and finally taking care of my teeth!!!

It's always a little stressful finding a new dentist when moving across the country, but I'm very happy I was able to find Dr. Chen. He did a very thorough walk through of my x-ray with me and identified some fillings that were done poorly by my old dentist in NYC that had been causing me discomfort for some time. Additionally, he clearly showed me where risk areas were and explained how some of my shortcomings in dental hygiene appeared in the scans. Very excited to have found my go-to dentist on the west coast on my first try!

I love everyone in this dental group. I broke a bridge in a fall and they were very accommodating getting it fixed as quickly as possible. Since then I've made them my go to dentist & added my husband too. They are very careful about hygiene during the corona virus now that they just came back to serve. I felt very safe with their precautions.

I've been a patient here for over 5 years now, and I would definitely recommend them. Their office runs very smoothly and the staff are all friendly and very professional; I recently got a cleaning from Claudia who has to be one of the most excellent dental care providers I've ever had the pleasure of working with!
It's kind of hard for me as a layperson to evaluate dental care, but I've had several fillings and a crown done here and have had zero problems with the quality of the care I've received. They've also been very responsive when I've had minor emergencies

I called before office opening to leave a message about getting an emergency appointment. The woman at the front desk called me back immediately and told me they'd see me as soon as the office opened. I was a little late, they didn't say a word about it. They waited for my old dentist to send their x-rays, but still thought to take another, which they didn't charge me for. The dentist could not clearly see the problem with standard dental x-ray equipment, so she referred me to a specialist. I like cozy dentists offices. The front desk staff is super polite and comforting. The check-in lady (Shena) was ready with my new member paperwork as soon as I walked in. My wait time in the lobby was very minimal.
My first visit was an exam and cleaning. I loved the results of the cleaning since it had been some years since my last dental visit (don't judge me). I did need to come back another day

My three children and I have gone to this office for no less than 11 years. When my first son needed a filling we changed from our previous dentist to this one because laughing gas was an option to help settle my son before the procedure.
Recently the same son now 18 needed an emergency support. One day before graduation he had a significantly chipped front tooth. Dr Arnold serviced all of his scheduled patients that day and squeezed in my son to his already packed schedule so that my son could make it to his graduation with his smile intact.

Avoid this place. I regretted coming here the minute I stepped into the office. The equipment is old and the office doesn't seem very sanitary.
I was not happy with the staff and Dr. Arnold's treatment. The dental assistant was really rough with x-rays. They still use those plastic things for the mouth, when any modern dentist now has better sensors and equipment for x-rays. She was also rude to me the entire time I was in the office.
Dr Arnold himself just keeps talking and talking, asking unprofessional and out of line questions. I was a new patient and he made me feel very uncomfortable

I am in my third year in the unofficial A&W DDS fan club. My wife introduced me to their office after I switched my dental plan and had a bad experience with a different local dentist's office.

This was hands down the BEST dentist I've ever been to! I've moved a lot over the last 20 years and been to about a dozen different dentists, but this was by far the best experience I've ever had.

First off, the office is tucked away right off on MLK and it isn't your generic looking dentist office from the outside. Both nice discretion and home vibes at the same time.
Second, entering in you have the the sweetest receptionist in the world greeting you, making you feel like you're catching up with an old friend, all while checking you in for your appointment.
Third, I was running to make it in on time, since they were gracious enough to squeeze me in before I had to catch a flight the next morning, and Ashley hooked me up with some water and gut
