Dr. Eric Citron has been practicing dentistry since 1985 and is a graduate of the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. He attends numerous continuing education classes each year to learn about the latest advances in dentistry.
Regular dental visits are essential to make sure oral health problems - from tooth decay to oral cancer - are detected and treated in a timely manner. At our office, your oral health is our paramount concern. We want to make sure your teeth stay healthy, function well and look great! From regular cleanings and exams to advanced restorative treatments, all of your routine dental needs can be met right here.

If you have an after-hours emergency, please call Dr. Citron at the number listed below. Please note that medications will only be prescribed for patients who have been treated in our office.

Dare I say I look forward to, maybe even enjoy going for my routine cleanings. Dr Citron is so attentive and knowledgeable and I love that he does the cleaning, super thorough and gentle but effective. I had veneers done somewhere else and he helped tailor my oral needs around it and recommended the best toothpaste for sensitive teeth - two years later my teeth have remineralized and all sensitivity gone, couldn't be happier.

Let me begin my review by stating that I am NOT a patient of Dr. Citron. I found Dr. Citron here on Yelp when an unexpected accident occurred, resulting in a tooth cracking and the filling it housed became loose and eventually came out. Of course, this happened last June during the pandemic (thanks 2020!). To make matters worse, my dentist was in New York City, and due to NYC being a global hotspot in the early phase of CoV2 showing up in the US, NYC businesses had been closed for months, which resulted in my dentist retiring his practice June 30th. I was not about to risk my health by hopping

Very good thorough dentist. I had to go to him because of a cracked tooth emergency during the pandemic. I felt he did a great job and pays attention to detail. I had to have a crown, first one and was a little hesitant but very happy with the results. Also had a cleaning - one of the best I ever had. I am not one to give high marks easily but felt he really goes the extra mile.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience. This was a first time visit with a broken crown. They fit me in to their busy schedule. The staff members were great and Dr. Citron was very kind and thorough with his explanations. I will definitely come back and recommend this practice to anyone who is looking for a dentist.

Made an appointment weeks ago and when I came in, the front desk was watching a movie in the dark and barely acknowledged that I existed, handed me a form, and then after filling it out was told that the dentist doesn't accept my insurance. Wasn't informed on the phone when I made the appointment. A waste of time and a total disappointment.

Updating my review. It turns out that I've now been going to Dr. Citron for 15 years, and I'm as delighted with him and his dental practice now as ever.

I made an appointment for December 28th like 2 weeks ago, and I scheduled everything for that date so that I don't have to go to work (I have a long commute to work from Berkeley everyday) on that date and take care of a lot of things - like taking my wife to a driving test at Oakland DMV etc. I received a call from the office telling me that the doctor will not work on that date and just canceled me and my wife's appointment. This has ruined my plan, and I am very disappointed. If you set up an appointment please keep them or do not make it in the first place.

I used to hate going to the dentist because all of the ones I went to made me anxious, were expensive, and always tried to sell me things I didn't need like teeth whiteners, invisaline or filling replacements. Then I finally went to see Dr. Citron. He's amazing! So down to earth, gentle, friendly and reassuring. He's also efficient, so you'll be in and out in no time. I've had a very positive experience with this practice, friendly front office and Dr. Citron's
