Tess was great an patient. She was able to sell my home in under 30 days at a great asking price and then helped me to find my next home. Even though I was usung my VA loan which isnt the easiest for sellers she was able to present my offer to a seller in a way that assured them it would go through and would be done efficiently.
Patrick helped us find our home in Oakland about 3 months ago. We reached out to him on the recommendation of friends who raved about him, and we are pleased to say we made the right choice! He was incredibly patient as we looked for the perfect home, with no pressure what-so-ever. He was always there to offer insight as an agent, and his expertise of Oakland was an added bonus.

Patrick helped me with the sale of my condo and I am truly impressed. He kept a clear level of communication throughout the process so that I was never in the dark at any point.
I would highly recommend him based on my experience whether you are looking to sell or buy a home. Patrick was excellent and I would definitely use again!

Positive: Professionalism, Responsiveness, Value
It was an absolute pleasure working with Patrick Daniels in selling our home. There were a lot of family emotions when it came to selling our property but we were delighted to work with a realtor who showed compassion, awareness. and due diligence to make the selling experience fulfilling.

I am a landscape contractor who did an immense amount of work for a house by realtor Stan Hammond. The work included window boxes installed on the second floor, 9 yards of mulch delivered and installed on a backyard slope, plants, and planterboxes. Although Mr. Bennett assures me most Wells contractors are paid within three days, Mr. Hammond made me wait 3 weeks and allowed his client to pay less than the billed amount. This white man's first language is mansplain. He treated Latino workers like nameless tools. He treated this woman contractor like someone he would like a lot better

I've been working with Kelly for over a year on the challenging sale
of a warehouse in Oakland. She has been nothing but professional,
responsive, and patient throughout the whole process.
Kelly pays attention to every detail, and goes above and beyond.
She's always easy to reach and pleasant to talk to.
I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Sent an email inquiring about a property and received a snippy one line response that they were not interested in renting to someone like me. They did however suggest that I like them on Facebook.
Common courtesy suggests that you should at least include a greeting or sign your name when you tell me you don't want to rent to me.
Not planning on "following" on Facebook them any time soon.

Through a friend, I was introduced to Elisa Uribe and Zhong Lei to start my new home hunt. They both did a wonderful job educating me and giving me the tools to embark on a successful, relatively stress-free, first time home-buyer house search.
Zhong spent a lot of time communicating with me and showing me houses and neighborhoods to help me narrow my search.
Due to the time crunch I was under, I ended my new home purchase with Elisa when Zhong was out of town. Elisa made sure I understood each step along the long paper trail, inspections and negotiations.
Zhong and Elisa make a superb team

I recently had the pleasure of working with Teri on a purchase transaction. Teri truly went above and beyond for her client with her dedication and level of service. Being a local expert, Teri will guide you through the transaction and be there every step of the way to help you. It is for that reason that I highly would recommend her for anyone looking to buy or sell in the Oakland area.
Well done Teri!

I would have loved to give these folks a great review but, I CAN'T lie. My family and I found a listing from this company on craigslist.com. We went down and saw it, needed a little work but decided to apply. We literally were a few minutes behind Teri, turning in our applications. Fast forward to today and I basically had to beg to know what was taking so long. I was then informed that someone else had gotten the property!!! WHY COULDN'T YOU JUST CALL AND SAY THAT???!! People may want to stop being so money hungry and be honest and upfront with applicants.

We were working with Stan and Sharon Hammond at Wells and Bennett for over a year, finally had an accepted offer and then their yearly vacation came up! They were leaving us in the hands of Teri Lester and would be gone a month. We were totally freaked out. Teri was absolutely amazing. She jumped right in and finished negotiations with a difficult and unresponsive seller getting us the deal that we wanted. Teri was also very reassuring and supportive during a stressful time. We could not have been happier. Even though it was not her deal and we had no history with her, she was 100% committed and

I sold my home in Crocker Highlands in January 2011 while living in Seattle, WA. Jeff Hilgert managed the sales process with expert care. He not only did all the "normal" things a realtor does but also went above and beyond - attending all the inspections, polling all realors that attended the brokers open/open house and reporting back to me immediately. Jeff walked me through the process delicately, knowledgeably, and professionally.
Jeff not only earned his commission but my respect as well. I highly recommend Jeff to any one considering buying or selling real estate.

Heidi Kearsley is awesome. She helped me buy my first home in Davis. She even purchased a home warranty for us out of her own pocket. During the process, i was lost most of the time. She calmed me down and rationalize me throughout the whole process. With her help, I got the foreclosure place with a great deal. She is great. Pick her if you choose wells & Bennett.

I rented a property (Montclair area, very expensive) from them. They are completely unavailable when you need something, but nag and call constantly when they want something. They have lied to me, charged me for repairs that should have been the owner's responsibility, lost a rent check that I mailed on time to their office, and threatened to charge me late fees (when the check turned up in someone's briefcase they did not even acknowledge or apologize for falsely accusing me of paying the rent late). They are incompetent, and don't even care. They will deduct $ from your cleaning

So I was going to purchase a home, but in the end I did not. However I have nothing but great things to say about Wells and Bennett and Heidi Kearsley. Heidi was sooo very helpful and knowledgeable. She took me to see many homes(and I saw quite a few, even those I knew I couldn't afford)and was so very patient with me as I was a first time home buyer. She educated me on the home buying process as this all really new to me. She listened to what I wanted and clearly explained what could and could not happen. Although I didn't get a home(due to the seller sfailure to do what they needed

With the addition of our daughter, my Fiancee and I decided to purchase our first home recently. We felt very good working with Patrick Nagel. He was extremely knowledgeable and aware of what it was we were in the market for. Patrick treated us with the utmost respect, and was a lot of fun to work worth. With time, we were able to locate our dream house! He is very professional, and a super nice guy. We received several listings at a time, and he (several times) went on his own time to narrow down our options. I HIGHLY recommend Patrick. He's the best!

I called Nicolletta at wells and bennette when I was searching for a house for me and my girl friend, I have never in my life seen a realtor this helpful, she truly went above and beyond the call of duty, weeks if not months, she tried to find us a perfect opportunity where Brina and I could afford and be happy in it, alas, our loan never got approved for what we finally settled to purchase, throwing hundreds of hours of this woman in the drain, there were moments I thought she is gonna say F,,,K this, you guys are so not worthy of my time...but instead she became even closer to both me and my

I enlisted the help of Shaun Martin from Wells and Bennett because I was breaking my lease and needed a screening and lease set up. Originally tried to go through AMSI, which is who our landlady usually uses and man don't even get me started on them. What a disaster! Thankfully, I got in touch with Shaun and she was amazing. Got everything done in under 2 business days- we were under some serious time constraints with everyone leaving on trips. She was extremely professional, helpful, and on the ball! I would highly recommend her for all your real estate needs!

What a disaster!!! I cannot even begin to list all the issues we had with our realtor at Wells and Bennett. But long story short she screwed up our closing so badly that it was two months late, costing us god knows how much extra rent after our expired contract. She missed a huge problem with all the paperwork and we are currently in litigation, soooo not what I need to deal with. Every piece of advice she gave us was a flop and anytime I stood my ground she got snappy with me and gave me the "I don't know what else to do for you" Avoid this company for all you buying needs.

When we finished closing on our house, I turned to Stan and Sharon and told them they had spoiled me terribly. I'm used to the realtors that don't really do their homework. The ones who think their job is about driving you around for a few weekends and then collecting their commission at the end.
The Hammonds sort of become your guardian angels. They check the guts of the house to determine if it's built well, they give you lessons on venting and insulation, they refuse to let you buy a house if it's too close to a fault line. I think other realtors saw us walking through at
