We reserved a holiday rental during Christmas time with understanding of no refund policy. The extreme snow storm caused I-80 closure for several days so we couldn't make it to the property. Surprisingly, Sun Bear Management team reached out to me and offered several options to accommodate. I couldn't say enough good words for my appreciation to their integrity, professionalism and excellent customer service.

We have used Sun Bear Realty several times for our Tahoe holidays, and are extremely pleased with the highly personalized and professional service we have received.
We have found all the staff to be super nice…and they always go above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. Response time is fast and the homes we have rented have been very clean and well furnished. Highly recommend!!

I reserved a cabin near north Tahoe for the labor day weekend, and about a week before I realized the air quality in Tahoe becomes hazardous due to on-going wildfire. Although the original policy would not allow any type of refunds, they were aware of this exceptional situation, and offered 100% refund. I really appreciate their prompt, and considerate action, and I would definitely choose Sun Bear Realty for my future trips.

After coming to Incline Village for over 30yrs (before I was even a teenager), I needed to rent a space for my own family. While Sun Bear Realty disclosed the new methods to access the private beaches (the reason you pay a premium to live/rent here), they made no option of actually adding money to your account, in order for the owner of the property to load the beach punchcard.

We had a great experience with Sun Bear and had an amazing rental. The office was communicative regarding the reservation and logistics. The rental was very clean, modern and had all the amenities needed. Key pick up and drop off was very easy too! Highly recommended!

Meredith was amazing! We couldn’t be happier with the service and experience Sun Bear gave our family on our annual trip to Tahoe! We come every year for our family vacation and after having the same condo for many years and then not having it as an option we depended on Sun Bear to take care of us and find a good fit! Our stay was amazing thanks to sun bear realty! The house was very clean, looked exactly like the photos, and when we had an issue with our tv connection they quickly sent someone over and resolved the issue within 30 minutes! I visited Incline Valley to try skiing for the first time and I am so glad that I chose Sun Bear Realty. Everyone in the office was so nice and accommodating. Logan and Travis had great recommendations too.
The condo was super cute as well. It was cozy and warm. I felt like Goldilocks tucked away in a sweet little forest (minus the bears lol).
I traveled with my kids and a friend and her child and there was plenty of room for everyone in our 2 bedroom, split level unit.
I'll definitely be back and I've already recommended it my friends :)

We have rented several times from Sun Bear over the last few years and have never been disappointed. The units have always been attractive and very clean. People at the office are super-friendly and helpful. Travis, you're our new star ! We recently spent the 4th of July week and following week up in Lake Tahoe. Our rental properties came thru Sun Bear Realty. We cannot speak highly enough of the team there. Folks like Travis and Luis who work with the rest of the team are just simply really solid people.
We have rented in Lake Tahoe every single summer for 43 years.... we have encountered a lot of rental companies who handle the various properties around town.

A great rental experience. Super easy check-in.. The house was spotlessly clean. We used to own a rental cabin in Big Bear and had many bad experiences with our own property management company. It was so nice to see that Sun Bear Realty and Management did an excellent job! The instructions for the home were easy to follow and everyone we spoke to was super helpful. Would definitely stay with their property again!

The house we rented in Incline Village was nice, but could use some improvements to aesthetics especially in the master bathroom shower. Housekeeping was lacking particularly in the kitchen and we addressed it with David and Travis at the Sun Bear office. They were very responsive and made a concerted effort to rectify our concerns. Overall, our stay was pleasant and comfortable.

Sun Bear Realty is the best company I had the pleasure of working with regarding a long-term rental property. I lived in Incline for four years and had to deal with multiple poor businesses for housing.
Sun Bear really cared about my business and it showed. I lived in a property for a year. There were a few instances where the apartment needed maintenance and they were on top of it right away. I never had a negative experience the whole year as well as before and after!

Honestly, either find a homeowner that's renting out their property, or talk to Sherine at Coldwell Banker.
The housing market in Tahoe is awful, so many rental agencies are well below acceptability because they know people are desperate, and will accept nearly anything.
We got a long term rental through ITR, now Sun Bear Realty (new name for whatever reason) in July of 2015. There were plenty of last minute addendums, and mixups prior to moving in.
We toughed it out because we had to. There weren't many apartments available at that point

I gathered all of my friends with kids and we stayed at 639 Martis Peak, just off Lakeshore. We couldn't have had a better time. The place is carpeted so all of the kids could run all around and we didn't have to watch their every move. The upstairs double room has a huge stuffed crocodile and an adorable caravan tent. The kids were rapturous. The kitchen is open to a barstool area so we were all able to take turns cooking and socializing.

The company fairly accurately represents the rentals. Our little weekend pad was quite a flashback from the late 70s and early 80s. The beds were a little lumpy and the downstairs bathroom looked like it was an Egyptian themed bath/shower combo (hard to explain). Yet, overall, we were quite pleased with the experience. It was a lot of money in the forms of deposits and variable cleaning fees, but it was soooo.. worth it in the end. It still ended up being a good deal and it was hassle free to pick up the keys (after-hours secured pick up box) and drop of the keys. Plus, with the cleaning
