I am Janet - a San Luis Obispo, Five Cities and Edna Valley wedding planner. I created Sandcastle Celebrations seven years ago, after taking a break from the work force to raise our two sons. Sandcastle Celebrations was a way to showcase my love of entertaining, design, and new beginnings. It all began 10 years ago when a friend asked me to design and coordinate her wedding.
All our coordination packages include an in-person or phone consultation to discuss the vision for your event. We recommend vendors that pair with your style and budget. We begin advising you from day one. You'll have a seasoned pro at your side as you navigate proposals, timelines and, of course, pinterest.

She helped me navigate TWO postponements due to COVID and seriously kept me sane. I had the pleasure of working with Janet for over a year before our wedding. She kept us on top of things, and made it so easy to choose vendors and make our ideas come to life. We used Janet and her team for our daughters wedding. My daughters wedding was rescheduled 2 times and finally happen on the 3rd time. We had to fire our previous coordinator 6 weeks before jer wedding. When I first spoke with Janet I knew she was the right one for us. In fact when my daughter and I were talking we wish we had met jer in the first place. She took the call amd ram with it. CAN I GIVE MORE THAN 5 STARS? Janet and her team are AMAZING!! I would highly recommend Sandcastle Celebrations. It such a wonderful feeling as the bride and groom to know you can trust your coordinator to execute what you've envisioned for months and know that their touch will probably make your day even better. My wife and I booked our wedding reception for the Casitas Estate, and Janet coordinates the vast, vast majority of the weddings there. She was available for our weekend, so we requested her immediately and we're so glad she did.

Janet is hands down AMAZING! We first met Janet on our site visit and she was personable, organized, attentive to all the questions we had and created a vision as we walked through the property. I thought to myself, she is just like me with her attention to detail and being on it and I knew I had to work with her! Janet made my daughter's wedding the wedding of her dreams. All of the details she thought of made the whole day perfect. Janet thought of everything from watching the flower girl so her parents could enjoy dinner, having the bride/groom's dinner plated for them, packing the cars with all the gifts, etc., bringing food/drink to the family photo shoot after the ceremony, and setting up a sweet vignette in their room after the wedding. I had selected a venue that required we bring EVERYTHING in ourselves, so she had SO many vendors to juggle but kept it all so organized that I didn't have any concerns day of. I also had a lot of DIY and cost saving strategies that did mean more work for her but she never had any issue with my loads of instructions and boxes of supplies.
She has an excellent eye for design which I unfortunately do not have so she helped me a great deal with

Janet is beyond amazing! My husband, mom, dad, and I met her when we first toured our wedding venue since she is a preferred vendor. The moment I met her, I felt like we just clicked and knew immediately that I wanted to work with her.
