Family owned and operated, Vince's New York Pizza was established in 1989 by Roberto Gonzalez in Smithsburg, Maryland. After years of success and becoming a local favorite, a new location of Vince's was eventually opened in Hagerstown. I needed ten pizzas for my daughter's birthday, my husband forgot to order them and we needed them quick... called vinces, it was our first time, we are new to the area and spoke with a wonderful employee who said she would ask the owner if we could expedite the pizzas fast. Sure enough, I had ten of the most delicious pizzas we have ever ate ! The kids were in static, and the adults couldn't believe how good it was. We are all from new york, and this pizza was the best pizza we have ever had!

Normally, I love the food from Vince's. I ordered a hot ham and cheese sub. Whatever sub bun I got was horrible. The bun was small and tore very easily. In fact, on the one half the sub bun was already torn in two. The bun was soggy and had a strong, yeasty taste. I've had their sub buns in the past but I never had anything this bad. The others in my group agreed with me. They struggled eating their subs as well.

So I had ordered from here a few times in the past few years and had good experiences. The last 2, not so much. I had ordered a sicilian and cheesy bread for delivery. The sicilian was totally raw dough and the cheesy bread was burnt. Tried baking it and it still was beyond edible. I called and spoke to the owner who was very apologetic and offered to bring another out. It was already very late and ended up just taking a free pizza the next time I ordered. So a week later, we decided to order just a regular pan pizza and cheesy bread for pickup. This time the cheesy bread was pretty good, but the

I don't have a cousin named Vinny but I have been to NY, so having an authentic pizzeria in the small town of Smithsburg is definitely no crime.
I wanted to take in the humble space but instead my family decided to order delivery. Now I wasn't on the phone but heard it was free, (we lived 0.6mi away) bonus!
We ordered a medium pepperoni and a large mixed veggie with Italian sausage. They arrived piping hot with fresh cut veggies and plenty of meats. Im not sure if they were house made but the onions were julienned rings instead of diced which I liked and it helped with caramelization.

Best steak and cheese! Best bruschetta! The bread is made every morning and is addictive! The pizza is made right in front of you and is the best handmade I've ever had. Everything on the menu is incredible. It's a cozy environment with friendly staff. 10/10 would recommend.
