The Montessori method is a child-centered educational approach based on scientific observations of children from birth to adulthood. Montessori Plus of Olathe offers full day (8:30 am - 3:30 pm) and half day (8:30 am - 12:30 pm) programs plus extended care. We have two kiddos that go here (2 and 5) and I can not recommend Montessori Plus high enough.
It is a joy to tell the kids it's time to go to school and they cheer with joy! My son starts kindergarten soon and I am confident that we have set him up for success! Our two year old can tell you the planets of the solar system and count to 20 with ease. As a parent I am so happy that we have found Montessori Plus, and able to set up our kids in such a loving and educational environment!

Mrs. Mary Lee has been educating children in Montessori since 2000. She has three Montessori certifications, two from Montessori Institute of America (MIA) - one in South Korea and one in the United States, and one from MTPI. In addition, she is certified as a kindergarten teacher and has TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certification.
The Montessori method is the life's work of Dr. Maria Montessori, the first woman Italian physician who graduated from the University of Rome in 1898. It is a child-centered educational approach based on scientific observations of children from birth to adulthood. Montessori's method has been used for over 100 years in many parts of the world.

Montessori Plus of Olathe is THE second home for my kids.
Every day they are bringing home new skills in life as well as math and language skills.
At Montessori plus my kids set the table for lunch, crack an egg to make a cake, are reading and doing math skills long before kindergarten, sing songs, exercise, etc. This place is everything I could hope for my kids. Then at the end of the day, they roll down the car window and holler BYE! SEE YOU TOMORROW! I LOVE YOU!
What more could I ever ask for ? :)
