Services
Pioneer Preschool LLC aspires to provide skills for learning at all levels of continuing education, to develop very positive feelings of self worth for each of our students and to instill love, courtesy and respect for all with whom they may interact throughout their lives. This is accomplished by the success the children have in their activities through the love and nurturing of our staff.
Our program is planned around activities that are "hands-on" rather than "paper-work" curriculum. This gives the children the opportunity to experiment and learn that new experiences can be fun, and by this know that learning is fun. Our goal of our program is to develop a very positive feeling of self worth.
We send out a monthly newsletter which contains weekly themes and upcoming special activities. In addition our teachers often communicate via e-mail. If you ever have a concern with any aspect of your child's development, our director is more than willing to make time to meet immediately to discuss the situation at hand.
I started as owner/director of Pioneer Preschool in 1981 at our original location at 93rd and Quivira with the hope of preparing local 3 to 6 year old children for kindergarten. We moved to Grace Covenant in September of 1992. We have grown from 2 classes to 16 over the past 35 years. It has been such a joy watching our school and our staff grow into the accomplished and successful preschool we are today.
I can not praise Pioneer Preschool enough, our whole family absolutely loves it! We have sent all 3 kids to this wonderful home away from home! ALL the teachers and staff are simply amazing! They all have such great communication and really take pride in how they teach and interact with the children.
