Services
Dr. Immi Song opened her practice in Albany, CA in 2000. She loves working in this diverse and inclusive community and feels privileged to be a part of it. She is a graduate of University of California Berkeley with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Molecular Biology. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery.
Our virtual orthodontics program will continue as a permanent fixture of our practice. While the virtual appointments do not include any intraoral exams, our goal will be to help facilitate your next step towards scheduling an appointment date at our practice. In addition, we can set up the initial procedures to obtain your dental records from your general dentist and prepare for your physical appointment.

Edit: it's been a few months, and I have not had a problem with this again. Treatment is moving faster than I expected, and I can really say that I recommend Dr. Song! The staff are incredibly friendly, and I haven't had a bad experience recently!
Outdated Review: The staff is friendly, but every time I visit I'm usually waiting 10-20 minutes until I'm actually let in. I don't know if this is because of COVID, but they always seem to be backed up, even at 8:30 in the morning. At the "ripe old age" of 63, I decided to get orthodontic treatment to straighten my teeth. Despite my age and having overcrowded teeth most of my adult life, I responded very well to Dr. Song's treatment program with Invisalign. Throughout my visits she was patient, supportive, and encouraging. And the staff is always helpful and friendly. I completed my treatment in a year & a half, and the end result was dramatic. This is the best investment I made for myself. I highly recommend Dr. Song to anyone who is considering orthodontic treatment, especially older adults like me who may think orthodontics

Dr Song convincly dispenses the Kool-Aid, making it easy to get swept up and not ask any questions. If you do ask questions that in any way challenge her recommendations your point of view as a patient will be discarded. After years of standard check-ins and consultations leading up to having braces placed on my child all signs pointed to very straightforward treatment. Wouldn't you know that as soon as we paid her the deposit the treatment then evolved into something much more involved, including removal of a healthy tooth! First of all, I would like to thank Dr.Immi Song for fixing my son's smile. Since the first time we started his treatment she has always been very professional and informative. Tara, Natalie and the rest of the staff are always very kind and courteous. They always make us feel at home. The office is always very clean and neat. All the staff, Tara, Janice, Natalie, and Dr. Song are very nice! The front desk is always very helpful. I had a last minute change of appointment, but Tara helped to continue scheduling the next day early in the morning to accommodate my travel schedule. Great help! The place is always very clean and neat, strongly recommend this place.

We took our 11-year-old daughter to see Dr. Song. Dr. Song recommended to delay treatment until she is about 15 years old when all her permanent teeth come in. She offers to monitor her growth closely every 6 months for free. We are so impressed by her detailed diagnostics and her experience as well as her generous offer. Compared to the other orthodontic doctor who did the first phase treatment on my daughter, Dr. Song is not greedy for money, she doesn't want my daughter to wear braces longer period of time than needed.
