Just came from getting my hair cut and colored at Brockway Hair Design on Sierra College Blvd. I've never been there before so I was nervous about trying a new place. Melissa was amazing! My hair came out great and she was so nice and engaging. I already made another appointment with Melissa for my next cut and color. Thank you Melissa, great place to go!

I really wanted this place and the stylist to be my hairs new home. I'm sad my experience ended the way it did and so is my hair I am now stuck with
I gave 2 stars for friendly staff and clean facility. I had previously came in for a haircut and met a stylist and told her how frustrated I was and how I couldn't find a stylist I could call "mine".
I showed her pictures of how my hair was and what I was wanting to have again. She told me she could do it and even gave me a later appointment time because I had to work.
I was SO EXCITED! I finally could walk around and feel

Got a haircut here in desperate need during covid pandemic. They required masks, however one client wasn't even wearing it properly (covering nose and mouth), and wasn't told otherwise which was irritating. Also had clients right next to each other (1 - 2 ft apart) for hair washing station which doesn't follow guidelines; so I felt uncomfortable but wasn't given any other options to wait. Hair stylist hands were really shaky and kept dropping items. Tough pulling on my hair, and didn't apologize or even care to be more gentle with conditioner or product to help. Overall

I want to remove my stars because after Annie (the reason I gave Brockway 5 stars in the first place) left, I stopped in to the shop before she had a chance to reach out to me and tell me that she'd moved shops. Luckily just down the street a bit. But when I stopped in and asked for her and was told she had left I asked if any of them knew where she went, and one older woman told me that she "thought she had quit doing hair" and the other two agreed with her and said that they thought she might have moved as well. Annie contacted me soon after and she told me that they all knew

I went in and set an appointment for today at 2pm, to celebrate my 28th birthday. I set the appointment with the same girl who was going to do my hair. I showed up ten minutes early and she set up, then put me in the chair. I was expected to be there for a very long time because I was doing a lightening. She started a test strand and I waited with it in the foil no longer than ten minutes when another employee pulled my stylist into the back room, and was very loudly questioning her. I wasn't going to review this place because it was kind of okay, but I realized today that the stylist didn't actually put any layers in my hair! She was going to do it once my hair had been dried and I guess she forgot.
She had a bit of an attitude like she didn't want to be there, but she didn't try to upsell me and my split ends are gone, so.. good enough?
Not the worst haircut I've had, but I doubt I'll be going back.

Will not go back. I've been to Folsom Salon twice, both times crappy haircut, when a stylist can't blend or texturize ,then they need more schooling. Also went to salon in Granite Bay, there the stylist must have been straight out of school, Horrible!!!! Don't waste your money folks, you'll be disappointed.

I just finished a hair cut with Michelle. I have long baby fine hair and Michelle cut my hair with precision and some layering cleanup, just what I wanted. I made another appt with her for July. She was very knowledgeable about fine hair and offered great advice how to keep it healthy and looking it's best. She also suggested microbead extensions... looking into that. Would recommend Brockway in Granite Bay and Michelle, excellent!!

Went to see Marissa for the first time; I asked for long layers and she literally cut what looks like a blunt line above the length of my hair and now I have to get it fixed. It was wet when I left so I didn't notice until I got home. She was very nice and I hate writing negative reviews and wouldn't post one unless I really felt like it was necessary. Very upset because I'm a broke college student and I have to pay for a second haircut in one day. Will never go here again

Went to Brockway yesterday for the first time and I cannot say enough good things. The service was great; from the initial phone call to book my appt to the meeting Bre, the stylist. Everyone was friendly, no one was pushy or rude and I felt relaxed and comfortable during my appt. Bre was great! She was personable and talkative, she seemed more like a friend than a random hair stylist. She did an awesome job on my cut and I will definitely be back and will refer others too. Cant beat a great haircut with amazing service and a decent price. Thank you!!

*NOTE* this review isn't for any services. I'm only disappointed in the customer service. I came in at 2:30 for a color. But she said it wasn't enough time as they left at 5. Any place I've ever been to doesn't leave until you're done first of all, second of all, it doesn't take 3 hours to color hair. I drove 45 minutes to get there. And was turned away because they closed in 3 hours. All I wanted was color! Should take an hour, TOPS. Very disappointing.

She's been cutting my hair (which is a tuff challenge for any stylist) since she was freshly out of beauty school (if that's what they still call it these days) & I followed her to Brockway when her career advanced to an upper scale salon. I believe now after about 5-6 yrs into her career that she is not only one of Sacto Valley's most skilled,
