For over 400 years people have been living and fishing on Appledore Island. Located 10 miles off the coast of New Hampshire the location is remote and home to severe winter and summer weather. The owners contacted JG painting based on our reputation for fairness and willing to go the extra mile to get the job done, in this case traveling 10 miles by ferry each way just to get to the location.
Located on Central road in Rye this New England house had a pretty drastic color change from a tan to a navy Blue. We started like we do with all homes prepping the entire house, scraping, sanding and replacing any rotted or misaligned boards. We did a prime coat with oil prime and two coats of Sherwin Williams Woodscapes which is a solid stain.
The New Castle town hall dates back to the mid 1800s and was heavily damaged due wear and the salt air. We hand washed the entire building scaped all loose paint and Used a High build acrylic primer called Peel Bond which is specifically made for heavily damaged old siding to help build a bridge between the old levels of paint to the new existing finish to show a semi smooth appearance.
Residential Painting Service - 1770s Farm House Banister Transformed in Lakes Region New Hampshire. This is a 1770s farm house bannister railing set we did in the lakes region of NH. First we stripped all the existing paint, varnish and stain with an eco friendly low voc stripper called pro strip from Sherwin Williams, then we color matched our multi part epoxy wood filler to the existing bannister.

Jeff did an exceptional job painting the house and repairing our bad spots. It's now been 2 years and the paint looks just as good as when it was first done. All the prep work and scraping was done correctly and he was very professional. Although I don't think it will be needed, I feel comfort in knowing if we ever start to have problems with the paint job it is guaranteed to be fixed. Thanks Jeff!
