Matthew Johnson is the owner and co-founder of Granite State Painters. Matt was born and raised on the seacoast of New Hampshire, where he attended Oyster River High School in Durham. After graduation, Matt went on to study at Colorado Mountain College and Plymouth State University where he received his bachelor's degree in Business Marketing.

We’re very happy with the professional and neat job Granite State Painters did painting our kitchen cabinet. The finish is terrific and our cabinets look factory new. Everyone we dealt with at Granite State Painters were terrific! They accommodated our schedule and needs, communicated with us during the process and were genuinely concerned that we were totally happy with their work. I would definitely use them again and recommend them highly. Over the years we’ve had many contractors do work for us. Granite State Painters was one of our most positive experiences.

We refreshed our kitchen which included interior paint and cabinet refinishing with paint. Their procedure is slick and the product they apply is as good as a factory finish if not better.
Both teams, the interior painting and the cabinet painting team, were polite and, efficient, and helpful. They were always on time and kept us informed about the timeline.
We couldn’t be happier with the final result! Our 24 year old cabinets are like NEW

Granite State Painters recently did some interior painting for us. They impressed me from the start with their professionalism. They walked me through every detail of the job from start to finish and completely delivered the quality of work they promised. Steve and Bradley were an awesome team.
