We recommend purchasing new packing supplies for your moving company or other reliable source. Some items such as wardrobes and blankets may be rented and returned. If you choose to use your boxes, check to make sure they are clean and strong enough to do the job. Don't use old newspapers to wrap anything that may absorb ink.

I've moved probably 10 times in my adult life and my experience with Ideal Moving was by far the worst and most stressful.
When I chose Ideal Moving they were going to cost me roughly $500 more than renting a UHaul but I thought the extra expense would save me stress and effort. I completed my estimate and scheduling over the phone about six weeks before my move. I didn't know exactly how many boxes I'd have since I hadn't packed yet but I was assured that we had over estimated enough per my square footage that any overage would be minimal. This company is just a bunch of crooks. They get your business, and then start changing their prices!! Their quote to me meant nothing!!! They ended up charging me 3 times what they quoted!!! Our original quote was based on 701 cf, 4,907 pounds, $2,020.00. The size of our storage unit was 8 feet wide by 12 feet deep by 10 feet high making it 1200 cf. Our unit was approximately 1/2 to 3/4 full. When the Ideal rental truck pulled up, David the Driver apologized for being late, and he and 2 other men proceeded to load our belongings onto their truck. This took approximately a little over

Their adaptability and flexibility made our move extremely easy. I don’t think we have ever been treated with so much respect by a moving crew. The cost of the entire transaction was also very considerate, and we felt that we got value for our money.
