If a child is to keep alive his inborn sense of wonder, he needs the companionship of at least one adult who can share it, rediscovering with him the joy, excitement, and mystery of the world we live in. Kennesaw Mountain Nature Preschool is a progressive Forest program located at the Foothills of Kennesaw Mountain in Cobb County, GA.
We are dedicated to the education of children ages 3 to 6 in a nature based program. We promote nature immersion and child - initiated inquiry in a range of environments. We aim to honor the natural curiosity and sense of wonder in children as they form relationships with each other and the natural environment of the mountain and other natural habitats in Cobb County.

Services
Our Summer Camp includes playing in the outdoors at our home base property and moving into our local passive parks. There we will be exploring and taking the time to marvel in the natural world. Children must be able to communicate their needs for a restroom and be fully potty trained.
For purposes of safety and respect to others or wildlife, children will also need to be able to follow directions, safety rules and guidelines during Forest Camp excursions within our small group.We strive to create a balanced and diverse population of learners for the Summer Forest Camp group that meets daily.

Angie is by far one of the most dedicated early childhood educators I have ever met. She has realized this beautiful dream of a preschool where children's curiosities are piqued by the wonders of nature. Angie's experience and passion are brought to every detail of her work and she is a skilled educator and compassionate teacher.
