We are on a mission to provide a Reggio-Inspired approach to early learning. We believe that children use 100 languages to express their thoughts and creativity. Through drawing, painting, crafting, and sculpting; through dancing, music and pretend play; through reading and writing; these hands on discoveries and explorations are essential in developing the whole child.

As a nature program, our campus is designed to embrace the environment as the 3rd teacher. Creative classrooms encourage exploration and inquiry while providing an environment of fun. We are excited to open our campus each June and July to the surrounding community. Our summer programs are designed to allow children the opportunity to create and explore in environments that foster our Reggio principals while encouraging a love for the outdoors.

We love it here! (Scroll for updated review)

So it’s been almost a year and I want to update my review! We still love it here. My daughter used to be SO shy, like cried when other kids talked with her kind of shy, and now she actively seeks out kids to play with at the park or wherever she is. The transformation in her personality and the amount of personal growth that has happened since starting at WMCP is absolutely mind blowing.
Three year olds can be picky eaters. At least mine can. I love that the school provides a nutritious, organic lunch for her, and she is

This place is special. The kids work together building and playing outside. My child comes home with big smiles and dusty cloths and will not stop talking about his day. The community of parents is outstanding and the teachers are equally wonderful. We have multiple children but only found this place for our third.
The school is small and space is limited but the owner will help you find similar preschools if she doesn’t have room.
The best part is how I believe that my 4 year old is now equipped to handle anything because the teachers help them learn how to make decisions. My youngest is now

My favorite things about West Marietta Cooperative Preschool are the small class sizes, the Reggio inspired practices, organic lunches, and a tremendous amount of outdoor play. My child always leaves dirty, which makes me happy because I know she's exploring the world and creating art projects daily. WMCP is by far the best investment I've made for my child's early education. Highly recommend.

Our son has been attending here for a year and our daughter will start soon. We love it. The thing that stands out to us the most is how West MCP embraces normal child learning - i.e., learning through constant exploration and experimentation, led by the child's natural curiosity. We moved our son here from a more traditional preschool that was fairly structured (e.g., art activity, then music lesson, then science lesson, then lunch....). Within days of starting at West MCP, he was much happier and more comfortable going to preschool. West MCP gives children a tremendous amount of freedom to create

Our daughter has been at WMCP since she was about 18 months old. We started with one day a week, and over time added more. She's now almost 3 years old and going 3 times a week. It's been such an amazing gift to have her there. We love the environment. I was particularly drawn to the small size and community feel. The staff is so easy to connect and communicate with. They serve the children organic food, which I love. And I know there's so much hands on learning and development going on. My daughter is dirty every day I pick her up (not in a bad way haha). I would recommend WMCP to anyone who wants

I love WMCP. The self-directed focus lets the kids explore, touch, and create. They learn life skills like empathy, conflict resolution, and curiosity, and sleep really well at night.
