Services
Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home was founded in 1924. Three brothers Ora, Noah, and Irvin Stegall started their business in a half double house on East Main Street in Richmond, then in 1927 moved to its current location on North 10th Street. Ora's son Oscar joined the firm shortly after the business started and Noah's son Eugene "Bus" Stegall started helping from the beginning, when he was 15 years old.

Staff members of Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places our facilities offer the warmth and beauty of a fine historic mansion with the convenience of a modern funeral home. The charm and homelike atmosphere of our interior preserves the character of Richmond's Victorian period. Our chapel can seat as many as 300 people or provide space for the most intimate gatherings.

This is a review no one wants to write or read, but if you find yourself needing support to plan a service, Stegall-Berheide-Orr is exceptional. Trent and team are truly incredible. After my dad suddenly passed, Trent was so helpful to our family in planning a service during Covid. They handled the big and small details and made sure the graveside service was safe and beautifully managed. When we were stunned by loss, Trent was such a kind guide and support. I cannot say enough nice things about this team.
