We create our southern cuisine using a variety of farm Fresh, Natural ingredients that when combined with traditional cooking methods produce incredible food with crisp, Bold flavors.

We say "Barbecue to Black Tie" because we cater events ranging from the small casual party with a simple buffet & disposables to large formal events with equipment rentals, event planning services and professional staff as well as all types of corporate events. We also have Pick-Up & Drop-Off Catering services available.
Specialty Catering is a unique, fun and interesting departure from a typical event that will impress your guests and have them talking for weeks to come! Ideal for parties of 25 and up! All of the pigs we prepare are locally sourced, humanely raised, all natural and never frozen. Our proprietary seasoning injection enhances the natural flavors keeping the meat moist, flavorful and juicy.
Our truck is available for wide variety of events of all sizes including picnics, fairs, festivals, concerts, all types of parties, weddings, reunions, fundraisers, employee appreciation events, and extended or multi day service for location shoots. Additionally we are uniquely suited to work with breweries and wineries who don't offer a food service option for their patrons.
For many years David Newton had dreamed of creating a company that would prepare and serve the incredibly flavorful food that he loved as a young man in Southeast Missouri. In the summer of 2010 that dream became a reality when David officially started the Bootheel Hospitality Group, LLC. We are proud that the majority of our business has come from word of mouth recommendations, repeat clients, and testimonials.

Unfriendly service for starters. Extremely over priced. What kind of a BBQ truck runs out of BBQ sauce?!? That’s the definition of incompetence a d poor management. When I politely asked if they had any remaining sauces I was told “you can’t have a bunch, it’s limited” I just spent $66 dollars on lunch, I think it’s ok to have a few BBQ sauces. Your poor planning is not my fault. Avoid. I won’t be going here ever again.

Beware of the "Bootheel" southern BBQ food truck at the Smithsonian National Zoo. Extremely over priced even for park food! They served us food, "queso fries" that was listed as "gluten free", but it is not. After eating a few bites we asked the lunch truck cook whether the fries were actually gluten free. The food truck operator said the fries weren't gluten free, I responded that their sign says they are, then he changed his answer to, "if the sign says they are, they are",. Stay away from this place. It looks like you're supporting a local smoked meats bbq food truck, but it's really just an

Our office used Bootheel Catering to provide the food for our employee appreciation luncheon. The brisket was THE BEST brisket I've ever had. You rarely see chopped brisket, but on a bun, it's the best way to eat it. This was moist and tender with no fat and was absolutely amazing. His roasted corn/tomato side was KILLER. Will definitely find many reasons to use them again!

Bootheel Catering is our go-to caterer for entertaining and special holiday meals. David Newton is a pleasure to work with and he dishes up delicious, fresh, inventive food. We love the Southern twist, but he can make anything! We have used Bootheel for my husband's DC law firm holiday party for the last several years -- this year's menu included baby BLTs, mini crabcakes, chèvre stuffed figs, shrimp & grits, beef tenderloin with port rosemary reduction. The serving staff is top notch as well. Highly recommend!

I used Bootheel Catering for my dad's 75th birthday party. The food was magnificent and the catering helpers were amazing. My family is from South Carolina and the food tasted like "home"! David and his team helped make the day perfect!

Our go to catering team for delicious, fresh BBQ and southern fare. We have lived all over the south and think this tastes just like being back "home". Great service and very reasonable prices in my opinion.
