Dr. Kent earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology and teaching credentials from Washington University in Saint Luis, MO. After spending a year working and studying religion in Israel, he decided to return to the United States and work toward his dentistry license.
The Smile Center was founded on the principles of providing a superior quality of care, without stress or pain. You will find the atmosphere in our office to be relaxed and inviting. Dr. Gordon Kent, founder of the Smile Center, has the skills, training, and experience you would expect from a specialist in orthodontics, implantology, anesthesiology, cosmetic dentistry, or reconstructive dentistry.
Katie began her education attending Alfred State College and University at Buffalo studying general studies and computers. Katie graduated from Erie County Community College School of Dental Hygiene in 2011 and joined the Smile Center family shortly after graduation. Katie is CPR certified and also received her license in Local Infiltration and Laughing gas Administration.
All of our treatment rooms are set up to give you privacy before, during and after treatment. Every room is equipped with televisions to provide you with the educational tools needed to understand the treatment presented to you. Isolite is a innovative dental device that makes you more comfortable during your dental procedures.
At the Smile Center, we strive to accommodate the wishes and needs of every patient. We understand that restorative and cosmetic dentistry procedures are not for everyone. I am a huge fan of the Smile Center. I am one of those people that has severe anxiety about tooth pain and going to the dentist in general. Everyone that works in this office is pleasant, knowledgeable, and does their absolute best to make sure you're comfortable and at ease. I highly recommend them for any and all of your dental needs!

Bait and Switch warning - get everything in writing and recording when speaking with the financial department.
BEFORE switching insurances, I contacted the office - expressing that there is a year waiting period, and asked if they would honor the contracted prices despite the waiting period, to which the finance member said yes they would, as long as I have the PPO plan. Fast forward to today, and now its - "no we never said that" this is despite me having several others listening to the same conversation on speaker phone. I should have just recorded the conversation, so please insure you don

I don’t usually write reviews, but everyone at the Smile Center was so welcoming and knowledgeable. Alicia and Dr. Raymond took their time explaining the procedures I need done and answered all the questions I had in terms I understood. Anyone that is anxious thinking about coming to the dentist should book an appointment ASAP with the smile center, I’ve never felt so at ease, and the massage chairs are a HUGE plus!!

One of the most positive experiences I’ve ever had. I have anxiety, and was met with compassion and caring individuals, who wanted to genuinely make my visit as stress free as possible. Mary was beyond amazing with her bedside manner and professionalism. Dr. Geise is definitely someone I would recommend for those with dentistry fears. 10/10 stars.

Poor communication between staff and patients. I’ve been waiting for months for them to call me about a cavity filling and they never called, I finally contacted them only to be told the dentist who accepted my insurance never returned after covid, well it would have been nice to be informed of that. Patient-doctor communication lacked severely. I’ll be going elsewhere.
