Dr. Jennifer Sheen earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology from the University of Houston. She attended the University of Houston College of Optometry, where she earned her Doctor of Optometry. Dr. Sheen's optometric externships were completed at Northeastern State University College of Optometry in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and Harris Health System's Casa de Amigos Health Center in Houston, Texas.

I like this ophthalmologist. She's really fun and cool. I loved my Tom Ford eye glasses that I was able to get here as they have some good choices. She took care of my eyes for the last 3 years. I recently had to go back to my old eye doctor as I changed insurance from BCBS to United Healthcare and they do not take that insurance here.

I did so much research to find a super communicative and conscientious eye doctor for my 8 year old son, who has complicated vision. Yo. Bradley Owens is the bomb. A rare gem in doctors. A teacher and an advocate. And that A+ work ethos clearly trickles down amongst his staff. I can't recommend Dr Owens and everyone else at Vision Optique highly enough.

Everyone from the front office to back is very nice, and will answer questions. Dr. Sheen was very attentive and nice, and took the time to go over my results from my eye exam. She took the time to answer questions since I did have some concerns about my eyes. There are many glasses options to choose from, and I could even order a pair with a color that they did not have in the office. It was a great visit. It was nice that safety precautions are taken in the office for the pandemic.

I have been going to Dr. Lee since she and Dr. Owens first opened Vision Optique. My Father went to Dr. Owens while he was alive. I just had my annual checkup and they still continue to be the best with the latest technology and customer service. Everyone who works there is knowledgeable and friendly.

I strongly recommend Vision Optique and their "over and beyond "customer service!! Today started as any other day, except that I had a spec of dust/dirt suddenly get into my eye. No amount of blinking or home-remedy eye washing could flush my eye. We texted Dr. Lee and she agreed it was an emergency and to meet her at her clinic. When I got there, she made sure I didn't have to open the door or touch unnecessary items. She made me wash my hands before treatment started and that I was already wearing a mask. She then washed her hands again and shared with me her ritual for disinfecting

I went to Vision Optique because a coworker recommended them. Dr. Owens and the entire staff is amazing! I have optical issues, and regularly visit my retinologist. I also have had a lot of previous experiences from opticians filling my glasses and contacts prescriptions with an exorbitant price or inaccurate script. My experiences with the entire staff at Vision Optique are the complete opposite!

The customer service at Vision Optique is exceptional. From the moment you walk in everyone makes you feel so welcomed and comfortable. The optometrist explained everything thoroughly. She answered all my questions and then some. I learned so much about my eyes!! I was so impressed I made an appointment for my brother to go and get his exam too.

Had a red spot in my right eye for a couple of days that didn't go away and was able to squeeze in an appointment with Dr. Ngo on Saturday (same day I called). Got in a few minutes before my appointment time, and was taken into the exam room. I noticed when I sat down with some initial sign in questions the admin wiped down all equipment with alcohol wipes, including the paddle they use to cover each eye. Dr. Ngo came in a few minutes later and very thoroughly diagnosed that I had a minor cut on my eye but indicated it's not infected and can be taken care of with antibiotics. She was

Today, I decided to fix my old pair of frames, and called ahead to question more about services. Micah greeted me with a warm welcome and thoroughly helped me through the process helping me understand the many lens they offered. I went to see Micah after to talk about a lens service, he greeted me with a warm welcome and we picked a service to best fitted me.

I needed to get my vision checked and decided to give this place a chance. Made an appointment here 1 week and half in advance. 3 days before my appointment I get a call saying they had "ACCIDENTALLY" booked me at a time the Doctor was performing LASIK surgery and now my appointment needed to be pushed back 2 weeks as there were no other openings. How was this missed? And why was a notified so late?
In other words, they found a patient who was going to bring the practice more $$ (LASIK) and they decided to give them my spot. Totally unethical business practice. In addition turns out

I love this place! I have been going to this office for about 4 years now, and I'm still impressed with the professionalism and care shown to their customers/clients. I saw Dr. Ngo last week and she was so thorough and took the time to explain everything so I could easily understand as she went through her assessments with me.
Vision Optique has the latest/greatest equipment to help diagnose and prevent further progression of various eye conditions. They have a machine which maps your Retina which doesn't require eye drops to dilate your pupils. They also have a new machine this year

Love this store. There is a reason this place is so popular! Great store, great customer service, great location.
I came asking for a specific brand lenses which they don't usually carry. They had to order it for me. I thought this would take weeks, but it only took 4 days! I also noticed that they treat customers so patiently and no high pressure sale. They are also very knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend this place!

I wish I could give 10 stars to Vision Optique! Both Dr. Owens and Dr. Lee are amazing and extremely knowledgable optometrists. Their staff is also fantastic and efficient. As previously mentioned, I am new to Houston so I needed a new optometrist. I am so happy I found Vision Optique. I saw Dr. Owens who is intelligent, very up to date on the latest eye/vision research, hilarious and is the nicest guy ever! Came here for the first time for a comprehensive exam and will definitely return! Didn't need to wait more than 15 min before I was called back for my appointment. Nice that they have a retinal scanner so no need for eye dilation and the subsequent post vision changes that follow!
I saw Dr. Johnson who was awesome - took the time to show me my retina pictures and even showed me my insurance benefits explaining everything.

Doctor Owens is the best eye doctor in Houston!
Been using him for many years and my whole family loves him and the office. Super friendly, professional and sweet. Life is to short for anything else.
They have update technology and always very efficient.
They email confirmation and accept of the appointment works great for me and my iPhone calendar.

I love Dr. Lee and Dr. Owens.
They are smart, friendly, and up to date on optometry.
They are both patient with me and my lazy eye, and they are also family friendly.
They have modern technology in their office and now I no longer need to have my eyes dilated!
Dr. Lee is also an expert at applying eye drops without smudging mascara. FABULOUS!

Found Vision Optique as a result of their amazing reviews on Yelp; felt compelled to come back and provide my own 5-star review.
The experience starts right when you walk in. The place is clean and the people at the front are very friendly. I've never had to wait long.
Maybe it's standard practice (?), but I love that they employee optometry students to get you going right away and to help with preliminary measurements.
Both times, I was seen by Dr. Owens. I cannot say enough about friendly and thorough he is. He made feel extremely comfortable, listened to all my input and answered
