Dr. Paul Lovero was born and raised in Sugar Land, Texas, and studied at the University of Houston, where he was inducted into Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society and received numerous clinical letters of excellence in the category of contact lenses and family practice. He earned both his undergraduate and doctorate of optometry degrees and graduated magna cum laude.
Nancy Lo, OD, is an expert optometrist at Montrose Eye Care in Houston, Texas. She grew up in Katy, Texas, and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. She received her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston where she was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa, the Optometric Honor Society, and graduated magna cum laude.
Mariel is our lead technician and contact lens guru. She keeps the office organized and makes sure all of our technicians/doctor assistants are trained to perfection. Mariel is married and has a son. She loves the Montrose community and how everyone is very friendly and outgoing. Giselle is is one of our most talented opticians and frame stylists.

The space was beautiful and clean! The staff was super friendly and I felt very comfortable the entire appt. Dr. Lo was very thorough and explained everything to me, she even showed me photos to help me understand! I’ll definitely be coming back to see Dr. Lo and the rest of the staff at Montrose Eye care!

I love this practice. Dr. Lovero is so kind, friendly, and professional. I just met Dr. Lo at my recent checkup and she's wonderful as well. The front desk staff too! They walk you thru your bill and the options and everything is so beautiful and clean. They just got a new machine, the neurolens, so this and the optomap... they're on the cutting edge of tech for eye health. Truly love this practice and willing to drive in from the 'burbs to keep getting checked up here.

I had my first appointment with Montrose Eye Care today, and it was excellent in every way! Imelda and Nathan were both incredibly helpful with my insurance, registration, setting next appt., etc., and Dr. Lo was amazing! She was thorough, patient, and responsive, and really listened to my needs. Her assistant (regretfully I can't remember her name) was quite thorough as well and made me feel right at home. I left the office with trial contacts, and was able to see clearly with them for the first time in years. I highly recommend this team of professionals!

Everyone was absolutely fabulous! From the moment I walked in, until the moment I walked out every staff member was very attentive! Dr Lovero was very thorough and answered all my questions! The office is immaculate and very clean! I look forward to going back for my annual eye exams and referring all my family and friends!

I have been a patient of Dr. Lovero for several years and I keep coming back because of the great experience each time. The staff is outstanding, very courteous and helpful, appointments are easy to book online and via phone, so customer service is on point!! I especially appreciate the assistance selecting new frames as I love my new hip frames. For the first time in my life the frames actually hide the thickness of my lenses. That's outstanding!! An amazing experience. From the time you walk in and you're greeted with friendly associates at the counter. (very inviting with a great deal of professionalism) Dr Lovero is ahead of the game and very technology based. He went above and beyond to explain the procedures. I have been using the same optometrist for many years but due to insurance had to find a new one. After careful searching, I chose to try Dr. Lovero. I was totally impressed from the start with their reusable patient form and the kind professionalism showed by the staff from start to finish! I went today for my annual checkup, which was my second exam with Dr. Lovero. I love my visits here. Dr. Lovero and his office staff are first class, they truly care about their patients well being- I feel this is not just a career for them, it is their passion. His examination is thorough and his staff is perfectly knowledgeable about the services offered.
