Such an awesome experience from start to finish! I can honestly say that I have now "gained" a new friendship rather than just a business acquaintance.... :)
Where do I begin? Like most of us, this whole pandemic year has led myself to seek inner self-restoration and focus more at me! So naturally a trip to Vegas was in the work....whelps lots of activities planned for the trip such as exotic cars racing, shooting sub machine guns at Battlefield Vegas etc.

Dr Thompson is great!! He is thorough, quick, and easy to get in for an appointment. His rates are very reasonable for cash pay. I don’t particularly like the area of town and wish he were much closer to me but we like that he is right in the Walmart where we can get our glasses and contacts easily with great prices. We’ve been seeing Dr Thompson for years! I highly recommend.

I moved from San Francisco to Henderson & didn't know a good optometrist over here. So I googled the top optometrists near me & Dr Thompson came up. I read many of the reviews & I liked what people said. So I made an appointment. His receptionist is the sweetest girl & did the preliminary tests. Then I met Dr Thompson. Very personable & knowledgeable at his craft. He's been practicing optometry at this location for 20 years. He gave me my prescription & I went into the frames store next to his office & found the frames I wanted right away. I picked up my glasses today. Im also another happy customer

I needed a new eye doctor close to me so I went with this one, since it was conveniently located in the Walmart. I'm so happy I did! I originally had an appointment on Monday but had to work & called to change it to Thursday. Somehow my appointment didn't get changed but they were still able to fit me in. I was greeted by 2 attentive receptionists who seemed quite organized. After filling out a new patient form I was taken into the room to get my eyes checked with the machine & the glaucoma test done. Despite being a small office, people were separated, masks were on & everything

Due to several eye issues, I've been to numerous optometrists & ophthalmologists over a lifetime and this guy is the best! His staff is cordial & on top of things and Dr. Thompson takes the time to answer all questions and truly cares about patients' eye health!

Ok so you really wouldn't expect to find a good eye doc in an office next to a Wal-Mart in let's just say not so great an area of town. But I will step straight into the hood for Dr. Thompson. Seriously the nicest optometrist in Las Vegas. No frills but will do everything to help you with any eye issues or glasses or contacts. Very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Thompson!

I can't recommend Dr, Thompson enough! The entire staff is friendly and welcoming. I was a walk-in and there were several people in the waiting room, but I only waited for about 10 minutes. Dr Thompson is super-nice, efficient, obviously knowledgeable, open to any and all questions, and gives you options rather than just going with one choice. He knew going in that I had no insurance and suggested brands that were as good as the contacts I had at a significantly lower price. He's wonderful; I would give him 10 stars if I could!

I was a little iffy at first because of the location. It's next to a Walmart entrance, and I thought it WAS part of Walmart. Turns out, it's not. The girl at the front desk was very nice even though I was a half hour late for my appointment. There isn't much paperwork to fill out (1 page) and no one else was in there, so the doctor saw me very quickly. The doctor himself was very nice, funny and quirky. My entire experience at Dr. Thompson's office was amazing! Scheduling my appointment was easy and they were able to get me in the same day! I had no issues with my insurance being verified because the staff in the front went above and beyond to get it verified when my insurance had some of my information incorrectly inputted in their system. Dr. Thompson was thorough with his exam and his office is equipped with a retinal camera! It was so cool to see the inside of my eye! He is very knowledgeable and made sure I felt comfortable with my new prescription. Love this office!

I don't usually write reviews for Optometrists, but Dr Thompson is as good as it gets! What a great experience I had! Dr Thompson is not only professional and knowledgeable, but very friendly as well. One quality I look for in a physician is someone who is willing to take the time to listen and answer all my questions. Dr Thompson not only gave me a great eye exam for contacts/ glasses, he also addressed all my concerns regarding the health of my eyes. I have been going to this optometrist for couple of years now. Dr. Paul Thompson really does everything quick and get your eye exam results fast. He cares about his patients and tries to do everything he can to have his patents have the right lense. I recommend to make an appointment instead of walk ins. Sometimes they have tons of walk ins waiting.

The doctor is polite, thorough, always gets us right in with no appointment.
The waiting room is small, and although the staff always helps us I don't get the feeling that they really like us, or their job. I mean, they are pleasant, but in a very bored way.
It's odd because the doc is friendly, but they are SO blasé.
I usually use this one because he seems to care about his patients.
