The Honeyfield Restaurant & Pancake House was founded in 2007 and is located in the Drake Commons of Lockport Illinois. At Honeyfield, we draw upon our many years of experience in the culinary field to create authentic homemade recipes to serve a unique and original menu. The fundamentals of our kitchen begin with using the finest of ingredients including the most important, the ingredient of love.

From breakfast staples like gourmet pancakes, french crepes and cheese blintzes to our local favorites like homemade quiche, buttermilk biscuits, and homemade corned beef hash, the Honeyfield has it all covered! Serving hearty portions and quality food at reasonable prices has made us the local favorite for breakfast and lunch.

Great breakfast and brunch spot. It gets busy so get there early. Food is always delicious. Service is always wonderful. They have a big gluten free selection. Price is decent. I love their coffee. Kinda wish the coffee cups were just a little big bigger though but everything else is great.

Great food. Love the pancakes. They leave a carafe of coffee on the table for coffee drinkers. But no flavored creamers. They let us enjoy eating with no rush to leave, but still made sure check in on us.

Our monthly sibling brunch was at Honey Field on Tuesday. Though the food good, service friendly and Saturday Evening Post decor a treat, we were disappointed that none of the servers nor manager was wearing a mask. State Mandate! Rising COVID cases! Shame on you, Honey Field. We will not be going back to this restaurant. Why no masks? Customers entering/exiting, as our party, wore masks. If you don’t want to encourage not following the State Mandate and encourage a healthy dining environment, I recommend going anywhere else. I am just sorry we did not walk out; I only stayed because of one of

Came from out of town and found this cute little spot. Food was amazing, husband said best corned beef he's had in a while. Don't skip out of the upgraded waffles...bananas foster was stellar, and wait staff was pleasant. Happy to support a small business in this time.

This place is great! Your typical "coffee shop" restaurant has terrible coffee. But Honey fields has flavorful coffee, and they even have an option to buy an even richer/stronger coffee for a small upcharge. As you can tell it's all about the coffee for me, I like it strong and richly flavorful, this place comes through. The food is excellent, I usually get the avocado toast with poached eggs. They are relaxed friendly and efficient. The quiche is especially good too, you won't find typical places making daily quiche in ovens. All their supplies seem to be a cut above for quality, unprocessed potatoes

There was a wait on Sunday morning about 10 am of only 15 minutes. Our waiter, Sam, was awesome. Our omelet and grandma's skillet were very good. We brought our son home a Smokey and the Bandit skillet and he enjoyed it. I wish they would let you pay the waiter versus having to stand in line at a register.

Normally I take photos but we dug in and we’re enjoying the food so much it was gone before I knew it. Best chicken fried steak with sausage gravy I’ve ever had. My husband has a Spartan omelet that he said was really good except he likes his eggs more cooked (he likes them really over cooked and dry). He’s weird. My mother has a quiche Lorraine which she said was as good as she had in Paris. We’ll be Back. This place just made it into our top 5 for breakfast. We’ll come back and sample more. Might be our #1. We’ll see.
Update: yep, this is our number one place now. The servers are

Super delicious food and servers were all nice and helpful ☺ the pancakes were delicious! Had the cookies and cream and were soo good. Definitely will come again.
Also, they social distance very well and have safety precautions in place which is nice.
