Jim, i just wanted to thank youfor the beautiful job you and your talented staff did on our wedding flowers. I got married this past Friday at the Reflections @the Buttes, and I went through Jim at Sav On Flowers. Let me just say the experience was great!, I did not know much about flowers at all but i walked in with ideas and pictures and Jim helped me put it all together and told me what was and wasn't a good idea.
He explained to me why instead of just saying OK and looking to make a buck. Honestly the first meeting with Jim i felt like i was talking to my dad the way he offered help and advice so he was not just the florist but he became more like a friend and built a report. I went to 4 other floral shops to get quotes now that I knew the names of the flowers i wanted and the style i was looking for.

Last month we were in Tucson to visit my daughter who had recently moved there. She was to get married in Illinois in December but due to Covid and all of the restrictions her and her fiancé decided to have a judge marry them last minute in Tucson while we were all there just to be able to get married and not have to worry about flying to Illinois and not being able to have the wedding. So we were throwing a small little immediate family wedding at the very last minute. I recommend NEVER giving your time or money . When I first met Jim he was nice and wrote the order down in front of us and thought it was take care of . When I kept sending emails he never responded and when I called he talks about orders I never had added and my order with flower and table and forgot the grooms order. As I tried talking to him he kept talking over and never got my words in and his voice yelling some points and talked down to me . Then the price he gave before when I went to the shop completely Charged up even when I took the order that I never did off. I had to cancel cause I

The SavOn team made our wedding flowers. Today, over two years later, I went back for a Valentines gift.
They recalled my wife’s bouquet and with a quick glance at the photo created this incredible arrangement, while I waited.
They don't have a fancy store. They dont have a glass front cooler and they are a little tricky to find.
What they do have is epically talented people and great flowers at prices you cant beat. Why spend on a grocery store arrangement, get something far more special.

Very grateful that Sav On arranges & delivers beautiful fresh flowers. Since we can't visit our daughter-in-law in person right now, we thought fresh flowers would be a nice way to communicate get well wishes after her car accident. Jim was exceptionally friendly & helpful in choosing a reasonably priced design. The flowers were delivered within a few hours of calling in our order & cheered up the family! Thank you, Jim!

I will not order for them again they don't take down the information correctly to deliver on time which unfortunate another family received our flowers. We didn't get to use them for our mother's cremation funeral service. They refuse a refund not even 1/2. Never again. Were from out of town and had no idea this would happen to our family. So disappointed and sad that my mother didn't have a beautiful arrangement that I took time to put together.

Though definitely a little different than your traditional wedding florist, Sav-On came THROUGH! I was able to cut costs AND still get amazing florals for my wedding by going through Sav-On. It was so much fun to have my family and my bridal party go to their warehouse the day before the wedding and create our bouquets. They created my bouquet and as you can see it was gorgeous! Make sure you are very clear with what you want and this is a great way to go for wedding florals!

Jim was wonderful, a true professional that knows his work and loves it. He is committed to the bride having the best experience on her wedding day with flowers. He helped us with my great niece's wedding. She is not one for a lot of flowers and when asked what flower she wanted in her bouquet she always said pink carnations. After many people telling her that wasn't a wedding flower i decided she would get what she really wanted. That is when I found Sav On Flowers and Jim. After Jim fielded a barrage of questions from the "Aunties" he finally got to meet the bride.

Flowers never arrived for grandma's funeral because they forgot.

I had the worst experience for my wedding at Sav-On Flowers/Discount Flowers. Ever since the first day I stepped foot in the shop, the owner was a bit rude, but I decided to stay with them because they promised the lowest price, so i didn't really have another option. He had originally quoted me for $240, and at the trial, he raised the price to almost $600! At my trial visit, the owner was clearly irritated and rude, just because I would ask if he could take off flowers from the centerpieces (because I wasn't able to afford it). He would roll his eyes, and like a little kid throwing a tantrum

Our experience with Discount Flowers has been an absolute nightmare. My daughters wedding is in November and we went to discount and spoke to Jim in March. He seemed pleasant enough, after bragging about himself and his business. My daughter brought a picture of the bouquet she wanted. He assured us he could do anything we wanted and had plenty of time stll. He said we could do the "do it yourself" program to save money. The 2nd visit, the end of September, we spoke to his employee. We picked out the flowers we wanted. She said alot of brides bring in their bridesmaids, and even wine

Unfortunately a horrible experience with Sav On Flowers. I called and spoke with the owner several weeks before my sister was coming to visit. I ordered a large arrangement of freesias which I was assured were available. Made arrangements to have my husband pick up the flowers the day my sister was arriving. When he got there, there was no freesias nor did the owner offer to make up something else. nor did I get a call that the freesias were not going to be available.
Needless to say, I will never order flowers from Sav On again. Spend your money elsewhere

We were married in October and we had an exceptional experience with Jim Stith at Discount Flowers. He was professional, helpful and allowed me to come in and make the bride's bouquet. He was there with tips and support, but let me make it from start to finish. It meant a lot to my bride to have me make the bouquet. I give Discount Flowers 5 stars. They delivered exactly what they said they would, when they said they would. I will recommend and use them again.

This was the best experience we had planning my daughters Tucson wedding. Jim was fantastic, encouraged us to put all the arrangements together even though we had never done that before. He guided us through the process and my daughter even made her own bouquet. Her flowers cost half of what she had budgeted and she got more arrangements than planned. This was a very rewarding experience, at the wedding everyone kept saying how amazing the flowers looked and when they were told we had done all the arrangements they couldn't belive it. I have been in the flower business for 20 years and have never been to a worse Wholesale market for flowers. First of all it's absolutely impossible to find this location, no signage whatsoever, then trying to get directions was misled to the wrong location. Once arriving I was led to a very small selection of flowers most of which had been sold. The prices were three times retail! Not wholesale. I have never seen more expensive flowers. With such a small selection. Would not recommend this place or any of its affiliates.

We were excited to use this company for our wedding, as is very popular in town. After several meetings with lots of pictures and warehouse visits to see products that were supposed to be used. We had a final meeting to view reception table, made small changes , then we agreed on price etc.
Well we were basically ripped off. Half the flowers were smaller, not agreed upon, wrong colors, stands not used, boquet wrong color,etc. we got half the flowers then discussed, wrong colors in canopy, canopy half done, even the small changes we made at last visit were not fixed! I am so upset!

We chose this florist based on a recommendation for my daughters wedding. we did wait until a week before the wedding but were assured that all would be fine. when the flowers were delivered half hour late they were already wilting and the roses were brown on the edges, the spider mums shook out as i took the bouquets apart to add roses from safeway. they were so skimpy the 4 bouquets looked like one. they were wrapped with green floral tape, no ribbon--i contacted the owner via his website after the wedding,no response. the table florals were simply plopped in our containers, no marbles, filler

Jim and his crew are fantastic! He was very thorough with his planning and his sense of humor helped reduce the stress. I really appreciate his advice to help make the most from our budget. To help cut down some costs, we went in and with his guidance, made up the bouquets and boutonnières. The end result was awesome flowers that looked great and helped make our day. 2.5 Stars. This review is for the wholesale business of SavOn, at the 18th street location, versus an experience at their retail location on Speedway. I was a DIY bride wanting to arrange and choose my own flowers and so I explored the wholesale option that SavOn provides. I highly suggest calling ahead to make an appt to meet with Jim in person to walk you through the process, he's very nice, patient and knows the business inside and out. The business is in an unassuming office complex in an industrial area. There is a sign on the door and that's pretty much it to reassure you that

Im a fairly new reviewer but i should have done this one already. I am not a flower expert but i know what good service and good value for your money is. I have used Sav On Flowers several times including for my daughters wedding (done in our back yard). I cannot say enough good things about the help, advice and attention we got from Sav On. Any family who has ever done a wedding will know all about the stress and pressure of pulling it all together and as good as my wife and daughter were about taking care of the details, its still a Huge deal!
