Dr. Brion Long graduated with Honors from Oregon Health and Science University. Following graduation, he served as the Dental Director of La Clinica del Valle, which is Southern Oregon's largest public health care facility. As Dental Director, he was responsible for managing multiple dental clinics that provided care to the most underserved population.

The receptionists were congenial and knowledgeable. The Nurse and Doctor both communicated and explained clearly what they were doing. I was given an explanation of my daughter’s dental assessment and the procedures needed to resolve her issues. The Nurse and Doctor gave me an impression of being competent professionals and people I can trust my daughter’s health to. I highly recommend them.

Only good things to say about Smileworks! The assistants were very friendly and welcoming. Dr Fernandez was amazing! My son was pretty nervous to get a cavity filled and she comforted him and was so gentle. He walked away smiling and said the whole process was basically painless. I can’t thank her enough for doing such a great job and being patient to take the time to calm his nerves and make the process pleasant 🙏🏻

We really, really love the staff here! They’re great with our kids of all ages, including a toddler with special needs. Unfortunately, the orthodontic scheduling is too disruptive to give them all 5 stars. They don’t change the wires unless they break, meaning that we have to take time away from school every 6 weeks for adjustments, then again in-between every few months when things break. I was told there would be occasional times before or after school, but it’s been 20 months and every one was during the school day.

The staff was very nice and friendly that itself is 5 stars. this is my second time having braces so I knew what to expect when getting them again. My teeth weren’t bad at all just crowding at the bottom. I felt like I was at a standstill for a while with my treatment, my tooth wasn’t completely straight before they put the power chain on, and the teeth don’t have the space to shift after that. Which caused them to file my tooth down two different times just to shift. At a certain point I felt like I was conducting how my appointments should be going. I don’t think I needed 6 weeks in between

We’ve been going to Smileworks for almost 3 years. We have to travel 2 hours each way, but it’s worth every minute. Dr. Long was such a blessing to us addressing our son’s emergency dental needs when no one else would. They never disappoint with their punctual service and super-friendly, caring staff. The Smileworks family all work together as a team allowing the clinic to run very efficiently, providing top-notch care at every single appointment. Thank you Smileworks!

This was my 4 year old son’s first trip to the dentist, and it went great. He’s shy and was a little nervous he wouldn’t be able to sit still, but the staff was wonderful, friendly, and were attuned to his feelings and comfort level. They did a fantastic job making him feel comfortable and not pushing if he was hesitant or resistant. Highly recommend SmileWorks.

The office staff are all great from check in to check out. They make you feel at home. Dr. Long is great he’s very good with explaining everything to you and makes sure that you are confident with everything prior to making a decision. I would definitely recommend this practice for your dental care.
