The Appletree school is located in Fairfax, Virginia. Our faith-based environment emphasizes the importance of character development and academic preparedness and believe they are key contributors to helping prepare young children for future success in life. We serve families with three year olds through third grade and teach using our character education curriculum and phonics based academic curriculum.

Character is essential. Individuals that posses character are far more likely to achieve long term success in life. At The Appletree School, we have embraced our responsibility to teach character to the next generation. While many schools rely on teachers to create and model their own lessons in character, we use a comprehensive curriculum that provides structure, consistency and high quality lesson plans.
In conjunction with our Character Education Program, we have established an Intergenerational Program with various Sunrise Assisted Living Communities in the area. The program gives our children opportunities to share what they are doing in the classroom and what inspires them through the seasons. During past holiday seasons, our children have performed some seasonal songs for the men and women at Sunrise.
We believe education can take place in many forms and in a variety of places. Throughout the year, special assembly programs that enhance the themes or concepts being taught are brought to the Appletree students. We remember that celebrations of annual holidays and birthdays are an important aspect of growing up.

Our Daughter did the Kindergarten program this past year and from the very beginning we had a great experience! This little school is so homy and everyone in the staff is very friendly and approachable. We were very sad when the year was over and that meant no more Appletree for us. We felt at home so quickly with everyone here. The communications with the teachers were always quick, professional and helpful for both us parents and for our kid. They have great after school extra curriculum activities like ballet, karate, soccer, drawing. The kids are never bored and always interacting, socializing

The Appletree School is very well managed. Management team is very professional with real love and care of the kids and their families in the school.
Teachers and staffs are super warm and patient. Communications with teachers are very easy and pleasant. There is daily report to summarize a kid's day in the school from academic activities to special classes, like Spanish, PE, etc. There are also optional classes, such as ballet, martial arts, soccer, etc. It's very convenient for busy parents so they don't need to drive kids around for activities during weekends.
