Services
Our early childhood educational programs at our preschools and daycare centers are designed to cultivate the overall growth and development of children through sound educational experiences. We believe that play is the work of children. Our preschools ensure that each child is guaranteed the time, freedom, and tools to accomplish that vital work which is what makes us one of the best preschools and daycare centers in the Reno and Sparks areas.
The Toddler Program is a wonderful way to introduce children to the school experience through child development. From potty training, learning to share, taking turns, and to expressing themselves with language, these are areas of focus for children in this class. We are committed to providing a safe and loving environment in which each child is nurtured and supported to grow and explore their world.
In this preschool program, children explore their independence and autonomy, begin to build their own relationships with others, negotiate conflicts, and establish bonds. Teachers support negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship building skills that children develop as they grow though this developmental stage.
Our Reno and Sparks preschool teachers focus on the Nevada Pre-K Standards to ensure each child has accomplished the skills which are recommended for beginning kindergarten. Within a structured yet cheerful, creative, and language-rich preschool environment, each child gains the benefits of attending preschool because they are given the freedom to learn at their own individual pace, allowing their abilities to emerge and flourish.
Are you interested in working at an education and child-centered preschool and daycare in Reno or Sparks, NV? Our staff is passionate about working with and teaching children! If I could give negative stars I would.
My first born went here and had a good time. I was putting in my 2nd child in and they canceled on me last minute. When I expressed my disappointment Lori had a melt down in the entrance. She is in charge of children and can't keep calm.
Update: Lori claims to be the owner but when I first had a child go the owners name was Curtis. All of the people in charge of children seemed very stressed. I highly recommend looking at other daycares.i have toured 3 amazing schools since this event.

This place is very disappointing. Lori the director is very unprofessional and couldn’t communicate well. She told us they couldn’t handle our “2 YEAR OLD” and she’s never encountered a toddler like her. Then she expects us to give 2 weeks notice for pulling our baby out of there! I will never entrust my child with this kind of person. She’s been there long enough and still don’t know what she’s supposed to be doing. She expects a toddler to listen like a 5 year old. When my baby gets in trouble, they will make it a big deal but if someone hits or bites my baby, they wouldn’t

I highly recommend Little Bear. My son has gone to little bear for a year now. He is learning new things all the time. You can tell the staff is there because they genuinely care for children. The building is always clean and smells clean. Lori has always been willing to talk with my husband and I if any issues come up, and she has been very understanding and accomidating to our needs. This is a wonderful daycare/preschool.

My two kids went here for 2.5 years or so. They loved going here. There was never a fight with them wanting to go to school. The staff was always friendly and very open with communication. I would highly recommend this school/childcare to anyone who wants their child(ren) to excel and enjoy school from an early age.

My son just started kindergarten. We were with Little Bear since he was 2. I am a single father, and I can't imagine how we could have done without Little Bear. He learned so much there. All the teachers really cared about Ross, and I always knew he was well taken care of. He was in diapers when we started, and when he left to start kindergarten, he knew the alphabet and how to write his name, he even learned how to add and subtract. He learned how to get along with the children and how to have and be a friend. I know we will go back and visit, and we will miss all the staff! Little Bear was like
