Just awesome. I called in a panic because the check engine light came on and my car was shaking. The receptionist said to come right in to get it read. Caleb was able to fix it quickly! Dang rodents built a nest and chewed some wires. I had called two places before and they were not very responsive. Thank you!

If you are looking for an honest mechanic... Look no further. I have tried about four area mechanics and have always been disappointed. I had an appointment at Joe's to get my head gasket replaced on a car I was hoping to fix and then sell and they put me on the schedule but when they heard that I was going to sell it they had suggested that I sell it as is and thought that I could make just as much without having to go through the expense of fixing it. First off this mechanic shop let me book my appointment via email (you do it through the website) which for me was such a time saver. I got a reply back very quickly too, so very accessible.
About a month ago I took my car in due to problems with a serpentine belt and possible brake issues. I had asked first for my oil to be changed (overdue because of COVID) and then for any issues to be diagnosed and for an cost estimate to be put together so I can decide what can be done today. I got exactly what I had asked for and nothing was done to my car without my permission and the cost being explained

I was stranded for a couple of hours in the middle of the night and was very distraught. My car had overheated and then died. The tow truck had towed my car to Joe's Automotive for an after hour drop off. Kirk from Joe's had been in touch with me and contacted per instructions of my note. He was in constant contact with me to inform of any updates to my car. I live on the other side of Kingston. We arranged for me to be be picked up to get my car. Kirk waited for me on the other side of Kingston Ferry and we drove over to Joe's. Before sending me off, he gives me a few upkeep

Recently, I stopped at Joe's Automotive because my low mileage 1992 Cadillac Eldorado was losing water. I had a overheating problem while in Portland,Oregon .A new water pump was installed, but done correctly. Without making me wait, the mechanic told me to pull into the shop even though they were very busy. He did a pressure test and found that the new pump was leaking. I need to make an appointment to have this problem repaired correctly. This shop is great.

I have so many great things to say about this local business. Today I experienced the true definition of people helping people. My car was totally broken yesterday (meaning no power so no car). After having my car towed to Joe's Automotive, (I was going there anyway but didn't make it), they stated that they were booked out for 2 weeks but would try to get to my car just as soon as they could. Being a repeat customer, they knew who I was and have always been very friendly and helpful. I did not expect to be able to pick up my car for at least a full week when I received a telephone

I was recommended to Joe's by a close friend as well as my regular mechanic (who wasn't able to take my car on at the time). Joe is very friendly, helpful, easygoing, and in addition to giving me the low-down on my old car also did a very thorough (and accurate) review of a car I was thinking of purchasing. It's nice to have access that level of integrity - I trust him and so should you!
